Hmmmmm. perhaps we should all at least wear our heaviest items? Let's see, for me that would be my tennis shoes and my formal clothes. Nice look, I'm sure.

Kind of like the subway riders? That would make dancing in your gown for ballroom under the stars night a whole lot more comfortable. I'm sure you would be the talk of the town, er uh, ship! :)

Nice to meet you Gaylean. I also am referred to many many other names. Can you please go find Cindy because this Gaylean character is mighty boring.:lmao: :lmao:

Wait, I'll go get her...

OMG this is too funny. I know this guy. He's Matt McAllister, the local rock stations morning guy until a few months ago. He even got on David Letterman with this stunt. He was going for a GWR which he got.
Jackie may know who he is as he went to a county station in Phoenix. Ever heard of him Jackie?

Oh yeah....KNIX, the BIG C&W station here (there are a zillion). I haven't heard him, but it's a great gig. Good for him!

.

What a small world! What class are you? He was 15A Aviation - does that mean anything to you?
SMALL WORLD INDEED. YOU HAVE NO IDEA. I now IMMEDIATELY have tons and tons that I can talk about with John and I have never met or chatted on the DISboard with him. Good thing it's a two-week cruise!

15A means he was probably a helicoptor pilot. Judging by the fact that he was class of '83, I assume he flew UH-1s which have been retired from active units for years.....hahahahahahaha

Used to listen to KNIX when I lived in Phoenix. Of course that was only when I wasn't listening to 94.5 KOOL. Nothing like the oldies to keep you moving all day!! Still listen to them over the internet most days. Really confuses our customers when they hear the traffic report :rotfl2:

Oh, sorry, forgot...I'm class of '97 and graduated from D-3. I was 88A Transportation at Ft Eustis (Term Service Plt Ldr, Heavy Boat XO, etc. etc.)

He's laughing! Yes, that is what he did. you guys will have a lot to talk about. He also sang in the cadet glee club. A singing helicopter pilot! His dad is class of '57. Are you not sharing what class you are? Is it a surprise?

Good for him , bad for us!! Our local radio in the morning hasn't been the same since he left!

Weather for Saturday looks to be quite warm, 90 or so. Can't recall what I was planning to wear for embarkation...hmm. Have to think about that one. Wonder if I packed those...well if all else fails I can buy something new to wear. :) For the life of me I can't remember what I wanted to wear. Something lightweight and light (white) in color. I like to eat at Topsiders when it's pretty outside. Can't wait!!

Hi everyone,
Wow, 27 pages already!

I've spent today being creative--decorating my FE and doing a few other crafty things.

I went to see Ironman this afternoon. Great flick! If you go, be sure to stay until the end of the credits!

Sorry, didn't see this before I answered the last one!
