Okay, how are you getting booze onboard? If you fly, they won't let you put in your carry-on so you have to risk checking it (hope doesn't bust open). Then you'd have to transfer it into you carry-on for boarding???

That's exactly what we are doing. We will wrap our four bottles of champagne in bubble wrap, put them between clothes in our four suitcases and when we get to the hotel on Friday, move them to our backpacks.

Drive by post here (no way to keep up these days)....I really need to get packing this weekend. There is a chance the girls might be gone next weekend, which would be great since I would have all weekend to pack and organize.

V...do you happen to know if Publix usually has liquor stores attached to them? And if so, what time do they open? What liquor is sold in those stores vs the grocery store themself?

Also.....what do people think of the water on board? Does it taste ok? I am a pretty picky water drinker, but don't want to lug a case of bottled water with me, so I was hoping the water onboard tasted pretty good.

Because the water is chilled it tastes just fine to us and we drank loads.

Meg and I fly in 5/9 and Disney has us at the HYATT MCO for the night before taking us to ship.

I saw there was a DISmeeting on 5/9 at 6pm in the Hyatt Lobby. Is that for anyone???

No you can't go special peoples only!!!!!!!!
It is for anyone who wants to attend and I have seen more then a few people post they will be there. I will be staying at the Hyatt MCO too but I am going to the Pirate and Princess Party so I will miss the meet sadly. I will see you on the ship though!

Where are you staying on that Friday? Now that everyone has graticiously extended an invitation to the meeting at the HYATT MCO (where we're staying Fri), I think we're going to that meeting. Hope we aren't party crashers....

I think Deb is in the process of doing a list that PJ will put on the website. She is including room numbers. Not sure if she is including all names(inc children) or just user names and rooms.

Don't know about the lists...but Meg and I had hoped to take part in the fish extender business. We went and got our very own personalized and everything but missed the deadline to sign up and participate.

We're still gonna hang ours to receive mail but if you need help distributing or anything, reach out to us.

You know, I'm a flip-flop girl myself. I'm taking about 6 pairs of different colored flip-flops, a pair of tennis shoes, a pair of water shoes, black dress shoes and brown dress shoes - so boring, right?

Yes, we have been chatty and fast moving from the very beginning, but as of late there is an entirely different feel to the thread. It is essentially a chat room at night. (day too now!)

I don't care one way or the other, as a long time poster it doesn't bother me, if I was new however it would seem more like a club to me.

Now, however instead of skipping over the night time chatter it will be the day time chatter too, and I have a feeling that since it's been mentioned it will now be even moreso, kind of like your parents when they tell you not to do something!

I'm sure it is. We don't land until 5:22, so I'm not sure we will make it.

That's what I mean. And truthfully, I don't read when someone is talking about electronics. When I started talking on here regularly everyone was buying cameras and computers and such. I hated reading it and it was a little discouraging. I know how the newbies feel but I also know that I try to make them understand so they stick around.

I'm such a water snob! I hate faucet water, I don't even know why. We always buy the case of Evian on board - I know it's like $32 or something like that, but I plan on it so it's worth it to me.
