Holly - I want to hear the end of the story but no clue if I can find it on the thread - so if you read this - PM Me......

If your bee is a Honey bee (not African) - they really are docile....(African bees are not), so as long as you slowly approach her (yes, she will be a she), then this trick works....Use a clear glass.....
OK, I PM'd you. Copied for everybody else:

End of the bee saga. ;) OK...here's what happened. I waited until it was very cold, later in the evening, after the sun went down, pulled my curtain back, put a glass over the bee, felt the glass vibrating with it's buzzing (VERY big bee--but not a bumblebee), slid the piece of paper under, the bee crawled on the glass, I took it outside the front door and dumped it out. :thumbsup2 All's well that ends well.

Forgot to mention . . .

Yesterday morning (7:00 am) , before school, my brother's students held a prayer vigil for him at the flagpole in front of the school. There were about 40 students and staff there, and they asked me to lead them in a prayer (something I am not used to). It was very moving, and I also got to give them an update on him afterward.

These same students have also organized a blood drive for him at the local hospital. Two of his former students are taking my 86 year old father out to lunch today and are going to play 500 rummy with him this afternoon to keep him company.

For all those who sometimes think the current younger generation is hopeless, there is still plenty of hope. And yes, this is at an inner city, Public High School. These kids have been spectacular.

That just sounds so wonderful. I believe there is still hope for our younger generations. After watching the Disney Channel on earth day my 5 year old is really pushing recycling.

I am sure your Dad will really enjoy the day. How sweet of them to take the extra steps to spend time with him. My thoughts and prayers are being sent your way.

We will be grabbing a cab right off the ship and heading for DL for a few days..then Vegas...then San Fran. Then home.....total days for this trip..23!!

We had orginally planned to do a few days at DL but since hubby goes back to Iraq the Saturday after we get back we decided to come back to Disney Land as another trip when it was not a holiday weekend as we just could not do the day after and still make it home with some time to unwind. So now we have the pool being dug on Tuesday when we come home - so that is something for us to look forward to :)

How many bags are you bringing? Family of 3= 4 bags and 1 carry on back pack for the plane...and of course my purse

If anyone saw the segment on GMA with Dr. Oz this morning you would have all of the dieting incentive you need. I truly believe I will be changing the way I view food. I do not need to lose weight, I need to eat healthier. I have been walking and eating better but now I have more incentive to keep it up.:thumbsup2 That is not to say that I won't splurge now and then on the cruise because I sure will but it will be within reason. I taped this segment for DH. He is going to start hating this DVR thing.:rotfl:

What's all this chitter chatter. I go to bed and come back to 15 pages! I have never done that to you guys, why would you do that to me :confused3

We got our doc's in the mail yesterday! My wife finaly believes we're going. Also got our stateroom assignement. We got one of the cabins with the big port hole. Does anyone know if your room is a connecting room, does that mean you don't get a steamer trunk? Not sure if it matters to us, we always throw stuff in it, but on the other hand without it there could be more manouvering room.
Two more weeks, can't wait.

Mike :cool1:

That is great for people who booked through DCL...but i wish for those who booked their own air and saved a ton of $$$ they would let them check in too!

it is not those who did only disney air - anyone who books disney transportation back to LAX can use it. We purchased our own air - not through disney - just using their ground tranportation.

Two suitcases and one carry on for us. I don't mind packing light one bit.:goodvibes Planning on using the CC gift for an extra carry on for the way home.:thumbsup2

This is wonderful - continued prayers for your brother from Tennessee

Or you can leave the door open, which will result in this bee leaving....

Or lots of other things flying in.....:rotfl2:

Good Morning Everyone - Have a GREAT DAY.
Um...yeah! We have major bird problems (Tyler laughs at how I fight with them all summer), so definitely NO OPEN DOORS. :lmao: And we do have bee issues all summer too. Gets to a certain point where we can't be outside because they're dive-bombing us.

We have a screen that splits down the middle so the cats can go in and out. Last year one of them brought me in a live chipmunk and a live bird. Very thoughtful cats!

So at what point after I left did Nan change her avatar??

So at what point after I left did Nan change her avatar??

I called her on the phone at about 12:00 and it was the first time that I have ever heard her voice. I told her she didn't sound like I thought she would sound, I'm expecting Ariel you know! I think that's what started it, right Nan? I did have a few drinks. We went to Hooters, remember?
