and they live in Germany as does my half-sister (the wedding picture) as their mother is German and she took them back there when our father and her divorced about 10 or so years ago - but her husband is from Maryland - we "did Europe" for 3 weeks including the wedding - have some great pictures from the trip.

I just found you guys!!! I am new to this message boarding thing. I am so bummed I didn't know about you all till now. Am I too late to join in on DIS fun?
We are SO EXCITED about our trip! I can't believe it's been over a year since we booked it thru Costco. Best deal around!

First time with DCL for:
Myself- Andi 40 (I don't look it, I don't act it, so I must not be!)
DH Bob 46 (He acts it.)
DS Kenny turns 11 on May 21st!,
DD Nikki 7 (She acts it too!)

I grew up in Burbank with my mom working for the Studio. Visited DL at least once a year and then worked there from '90-'95. We are now in Chino about 35 minutes from DL.

Can't wait to meet you all!

Don't get overly concerned about the posting here. I think SOME posters have been talking for over a year (or more) and talking about the cruise so much and planning that they might be getting a little, shall we say, "giddy with excitement"...

It's a good group, lots going on and everybody is pretty fun loving. Just becareful, you WILL get sucked in (cue someone posting "Resistance is Futile").

Feel free to post questions even if you aren't sure if we have already answered it. MOst of us have asked the same question more than once ourselves! Some have even answered themselves!!

ok, just wanted to share my exciting nursing news!! some of you might remeber that I started nursing school in January, well today I feel like I've actually learned something---I got to do a foley catheter on some one!!!!!! super exciting if you're learning, kinda gross if not. but even though my prof makes me feel like a 6 year old who just wet the bed, I didn't really screw it up, even though she was standing over my shoulder!!!!

man I've missed being gabby on here with you guys, but in 15 short days I get to meet all of you!! hope you haven't forgotten me in the meantime!!!

Oh man you just missed a chance to meet a few of us at Downtown Disney last Saturday!!! We had a Dis meet at Napoli for 50 dollas pizza! Welcome aboard matey!

I could not have made it anyway. We were at a campout last weekend for my son, he bridged over to boy scouts! Yay! I'm done being a den leader. Now it's his father's turn!

Will there be another get together? Maybe a bon voyage party?

But wow I just learned something new.

The US has Girl Scouts. We in Canada have Girl Guides. I thought they were the same in both countries.

So I guess Sparks would be the equivalent of Daisy Girl Scouts.

Our "Girl Guides" are girls between the ages of 9-11.

This is the "breakdown" here in Canada.

Sparks = 5-6
Brownies = 7-8
Guides = 9-11
Pathfinders = 12-14
Senior Branches = 15-17

And apparently there is a group called "Trefoil Guild" that are for women over the age of 30.

Google is a wonderful thing ... I learned lots today.
