Sparks are Girl Guides for girls between the ages of 5 and 6 before going into Brownies.

But wow I just learned something new.

The US has Girl Scouts. We in Canada have Girl Guides. I thought they were the same in both countries.

So I guess Sparks would be the equivalent of Daisy Girl Scouts.

Our "Girl Guides" are girls between the ages of 9-11.

This is the "breakdown" here in Canada.

Sparks = 5-6
Brownies = 7-8
Guides = 9-11
Pathfinders = 12-14
Senior Branches = 15-17

And apparently there is a group called "Trefoil Guild" that are for women over the age of 30.

Google is a wonderful thing ... :goodvibes I learned lots today.

Ah yes, you are guide we are scouts our new break out is: (by grade not age)

Daisy = K- 1st grade
Brownies = 2-3 grade
Juniors = 4-5 grade
Cadettes = 6-8 grade
Seniors = 9-10
Ambasdors 11-12

way cool, by son is a bear cub. My daughter is a junior girl scout and I'm her leader. We are even doing some girl scout stuff on board. I think I'll have Wil bring his shirt too, photo op:banana:

That's a neat idea. I don't think I'll have room in our suitcases for extra clothes like that.

And then there's Nan and she is in that adult group you mentioned.
