I'm really thinking the 25th will be just getting our bearings and enjoying the atmosphere. I don't think we will be in the parks till almost midday and we have to be showered and changed and back to our eating place before 6pm, so not much time for playing really.

I'm going to write down the rides that are different to WDW and aim to do those during the time we are there, and otherwise just enjoy ourselves.

We will be on the lookout for our new friends as well.(If we have made any that is!! )

Does WDW have Soaring over California? My favorite.

Yep, fast passes are gone by mid day and the lines are always 90 mins+ I love it too. It has been really cool flying over DL the last two trips since I knew I was actually going to be visiting soon.

Yes it does. We have managed a good few rides too. I enjoy it more than I did at first. There is a post somewhere that gives the different rides.

We are there Monday(busy again) and Tuesday which should be easier to get around.

Yes, but I am hoping it won't make any difference. I know Deck 4 is below us(below the lifeboats), but I bet it won't waft too far.

Verandahs are all smoking. The only problem there is that people might smoke more on their verandahs with the other restrictions.

I'm hoping that it will either just go through the letterbox or, if it needs a signature, will be left with a neighbour. Our neighbours are constantly taking things in for us because both sides are here during the day when we are not. It is very good of them.

From the way I read it, any veranda can be smoked on;

"Smoking Permitted

*Decks 4, 9, & 10 starboard side (outdoors only and excluding all areas around Mickey's Pool)

*Deck 9 midship - starboard side - An area with the same types of tables & chairs that can be found around Cove Cafe

*Guest's private verandah (Cats 1-7) "

I was going to reply when I saw ScottishWee had replied - Sorry! It was me - causing trouble again - so here's your kids - your DD reminds me so much of me - my mom used to put those same pigtails on me -

Now I'm starting to wonder if that is sign language or if it is hand castings of expressions that Italians make with their hands? I'm Italian and the more I look at the pics the more I recognize my grandparents making those hand gestures!

Someone on our table was wondering if it spelled Naples or Italy or something like that but it sure looked like hand gestures to me -

Just go to California Adventure on Monday. It is never REALLY crowded.
