I want to find out the same thing about poker. The problem is bunko and poker are scheduled on the same day so they couldn't be at the same place.

Sure they could be.....the Promenade lounge is huge......Daniel might rather play poker rather than BUNCO...but he likes both....

What kind of Poker are you playing??

I did and we are, but our plans top out at 10 people and we are sorta there already, darn it. Marr +4 Nan +4 and Steph +2 but Steph hasn't totally agreed yet, so there might be room for 2, but I think we won't know until the last minute. We are doing a private tour (snobs that we are) remember Marr knows who to ask for stuff

wow, that is ASL (American Sign Langauges) We are using BSL with two hands. However, my husband know asl very well than me. I am still learning and last year On Med Cruise - two interpreters had been helping and we had been shared our sign langauges which was very funny.

Thank for showing us and it is interest to read your little story.

Strange that some dog can understand to deaf people communicate like that.

As we have deaf friend who had the dog very good, know what they talking about. But dog died they were heartbroken and said cannot replace any dog like that. that was long times ago.

I think your asking what magazine - I believe it was Ladies Home Journal or Family Circle - it had a picture of Sally Field on it - not sure if it was a recent one but I believe so as I was at Lencrafters getting my glasses and contacts ordered for this cruise. Yes - can you tell I'm a procrastinator?

My sign language ASL is very rusty, and it's hard for me without the facial expression and hand movement, but from what I can tell it is not a sentence.

They are individual random signs, some words, letters and possibly numbers (like help, you, "O", "F" or "9" )

I really depend on the body movement that goes along with it.

Not sure if Deb's DH Ian can read it. But I know that BSL is very different from ASL.

LOL - I've been trying to ask my oldest DD but she's been out - she is taking ASL in college and has been attending deaf night at the Block in Orange and even attended an event at Disneyland a few weeks back. She's having a blast with it and picks up things easily.

I asked a question of her - reason was that growing up we had some family friends that were deaf and her family only spoke Spanish, well a neighbor girl was deaf but had some hearing with a hearing aid and I was amazed (at 9 yo) that two totally different worlds couldn understand each other - HEY - what can I say - I had no clue how ASL worked. DD set me straight by doing this: MOM!!!

BTW, have you guys done any special cruises? I swear you look familiar? If you haven't - I've probably seen some pictures you may have posted. Gosh I hate Deja Vu.

FYI - no docs yet - doesn't work for me either. And TA is in same city.
