Well, I hope my luck continues in that regard. I've only had to use it twice so far, and each time was right at bedtime, so maybe the going to bed part also helped the med along. Don't know. That is great if you can use only two and have it work, it took me about two years of suffering to find the right mix and be able to function, we will have to compare notes sometime. Get well.

The weather is a worry - we will be in Seattle next Saturday!!!! Should we bring the winter woolies?????![]()
Funny story about packing. Last weekend when Tyler's dad brought him home, Tyler was excited to see that I had brought down his suitcase from the attic (he'd been bugging me forever to do this). Without even saying goodbye to his dad, he ran into his room and started grabbing stuff to pack. His 2nd trip to his room, he came back out with a WHOLE DRAWER and proceeded to dump his underwear drawer into the suitcase. His dad and I just looked at each other like Tyler had completely gone off the deep end.Packing! Okay, I have to get the suitcases out.
YES!! We had snow on the ground here today also. It is COLD!
It was a good productive day today. The fishgift list is half done, the packing is now half done.....just gotta try a few dresses on tomorrow so I know what I'm taking. THE DINING ROOM TABLE is all cleared off and the vaccuming is done. We are making progress. It was a good day.
Hey, if anybody happens to be at WDW soon, even if it's one of you people visiting there just before the cruise, can I ask a favor? If you're near the fire station store in MK (I think it's near the entrance), and if you have time, would you mind picking up a Mickey firefighter badge with Tyler's name on it if they still sell them please? If anybody's willing to look, please PM me and I'll paypal you some money ahead of time. We got one when we went 3 years ago and he wears it on his firefighter outfit. The guys at all the fire stations just love it! Well, it finally got lost and he's pretty sad. I have no idea if DL has the same things for sale, so I guess the same goes for anybody visiting DL too.
Please and thanks!![]()
Thanks Monica! Well, I don't know if they still sell them because it was 3 years ago. At that time I think it was $6, so if they have them they might be a little more. But if you do happen to see one, please let me know and I'll send you money....or I can bring onboard, whichever you prefer. If you need it beforehand, that's fine too...paypal is a wonderful thing!I can definately do itI didn't even know that they had those. THat's cool.
BTW - I liked that story that you posted about the suitcase & Tyler with his packing. I could just picture him doing it![]()
Remember - we're always here for you![]()

Are you in Seattle? My one of my first cousins lives in Seattle.
If I had known I would have sent you a care package. There are several "Jewish" supermarkets here in Chicago, and now one of the chains, Jewel (up in Evanston for you Chicago savvy people) has a HUGE kosher section. Sukie and (and everyone I know) call it the "Jewish Jewel."
They had a TON of passover stuff. That's where I bought the handmade matzo. I never thought I see handmade matzo in a chain supermarket.
I had to tear myself out of the supermarket. Usually I deal very well with food, but this is one holiday where the emotional/food association are just too strong.
Monday night, the 2nd seder night is also the anniversary (Yahrzeit) of my brother's death in 1972. So passover is very bittersweet for me. Very fond memories coupled with tragic ones.
There I go rambling again.
Way to go Deb!
Me - I did nothing except play on the DIS today and went to DTD. Didn't do the laundry I was planning on doing nor any picking up. I did start my clothes list though (of what I plan to wear).
No packages at all today....very disappointing. Wanted atleast some of the shirts or shorts I ordered to come in. Oh well.
Am going to try to print out some door magnets tonight - we'll see how they turn out.
Am going to Celebration tomorrow w/ Will & Mickey - there's some sort of car show and something having to do with PIE!! I hope we get to eat some and not just observe.![]()
Thanks Deb. You know something? He was very happy when he saw his tent set up in his bedroom with all the stuffed animals & pillows & blankets because he remembers what the OT told me about that. He asked me, "Oh, is that so I can go hide in there when I can't keep myself in control?" I told him yup, as long as he's willing to try and will let me suggest to him to go there to calm down. The OT says it will help calm him when he gets sensory overload and has a meltdown, so we'll see. Looks comfy and sounds good.Holly, when Tyler has a meltdown again.....you do the only thing a mother can and that is to kiss him and hug him and tell him that you love him no matter what and that tomorrow will be a better day. That's it. You can't do any more than that......and that alone will make a world of difference to him.
For yourself, it's understandable that you feel the way you do because of your circumstances. Get help. Recognize it and talk to your doctor about it. Fix you, Fix Tyler. It will get better again.
.....Then there's this cruise that we're all going on together in three weeks. We'll be able to hug for real and support each other in person.....while drinking umbrella drinks......and having some fun too.
Hugs till then.....![]()
