Ian, I LOVE it. I so want one.:thumbsup2

You can order whatever you want in whatever sizes you want directly from Printfection

Printfection is just like Cafe Press (except I find them easier to work with).

I use them for my Mouse Manager shirts. I have not put any markup whatsoever on the shirts, so that is the base, base, base price you'll see on Printfection.

It will look great in lime green!

As I said in another post, Printfection is similar to Cafe Press. You can order it in whatever size and whatever color you want.

Just a word of warning, the lime green may show through the map, but the choice is yours.

If people are hell bent on lime green, I could experiment a bit with the font color so it appears a bit better.

After chatting this afternoon I was listening to that Jackson Browne song, "Daddy's Tune" . . . the line where he says he will put his '45's beside his dad's '78's . . . I was thinking now you would say put my iPod beside your old CD's.

I know you youngins are waxing nostalgic about records. But when thinking of vinyl vs CDs, anyone out there remotely close to my age will remember one thing:

.... Helping friends move their record albums, boxes and boxes of them ....

Got that image in your head? Now think about CD or just an iPod.

Here's a question....How do you become famous on My Space...I just don't understand how having "friends" makes you famous. I haven't heard of so many people that are in these reality shows and they all say Got their start on my space. I must be old cause I just don't understand

Don't feel bad. I still don't understand Face Book. I mean I know what it is, I really don't understand the point.

I have several people in their very early '20's working for me and they say it's a way to stay in touch with people so you don't have to be in touch with them.

I still don't understand the point of being "friends" with people that you don't really have any strong desire to talk to.

so is anyone bidding on a men's purple tropical shirt?

no, but I sold my son's tropical shirt yesterday on ebay:banana:

Another sign not the best but I like it:

And I love this but can't think what for it to say:

Oh I like your first one - good

Be Careful! Hopefully you are using your laptop not connected to a power source.

Surgery tomorrow morning. Mass the size of a softball on his colon, and part of his colon will be removed. Hoping no spread of the cancer.

North Carolina mounting a HUGE comeback.

John I am thinking of you and hope everything go well.

omg our nerighbor's house is hit...on fire and the firetrucks are here.

yes from what I believe was a lightening strike.

Oh my god, and the house is up for sale too!!:scared1:

Tammy it's ok to have some bad days......I have had a very weepy month.....I cry at the slightest little thing and at everything. I lost my mom eight months ago and have been feeling it the worst recently. I think because this month is Greek Easter and that was a huge celebration in my family with mom. This will be my first without her during it and it will never be the same again. Then we have the first mother's day coming up right after Greek Easter. I am soooooooo going to need this cruise. It can't get here fast enough. It's been a hard four years that my mom had been sick.....while I was in shock and going through the motions I was fine. I was relieved that she wasn't suffering anymore. Now.....I'm jello, I can't stop crying. It hurts and I miss her. It's so much harder now than when it happened.

John, you said the same thing about losing your mom. It's so much harder now a year later than it was when it happened. Every little thing is a memory and it comes flooding back and you feel your loss.

Just this morning I had to go get a blood test and drive by mom's block for the first time since it all happened. I immediately burst out in tears. It's everything all around me that reminds me of her and the fact that it's the first time in my life that she's not here.

It will get worse before it gets better and it's ok. But it will get better!

So Tammy you are in good company here. It's ok. Just cry! Feel what you're feeling and let it out! We are all here to share with you and help.

Deb, you are nice person, I understand what you mean as I have been through with my dear parents too. It is up and down and sometime take a long times to heal or never. Best way to keep happy memory. Have a good cry, no matter shame.

I cried last Friday but my mum's friend died and I was remembered how happy long times ago.

Yes, you and Tammy will share the pain and happy times on the Cruise too.

Take Care

Ian, love the shirt, not loving the Merry Isthmus, would you mind if I took the picture from it without the words?:rolleyes1

Nan,

I could do a version of the shirt without the words.

You you not want ANY of the words and just the graphic?

wow, over 100 pages!!

I cannot believe when I woke up this morning - guess what - it is snowing!!!

As last night when we went out as it was freezing!! not usual for April!!

Thanks Deb.

Not sure about the size. The Smart Car is quite large inside. It's about as big inside as my SUV was.

I have added more shirt variations.

Nan had asked for a shirt without wording so that appears.

There are shirts with wording on the front, on the back and no wording at all/

I also added tote bags.

Again, this works just like Cafe Press, you just order the size and color you want, though you may want to consider that a color might bleed through the graphics, but the choice is yours.

Again these are not marked up in anyway.

PHEW, PHEW, PHEW! Just caught up! Ok, I've been to church and had my lunch, but guys!!!:scared1: I'm going to have to get up an hour earlier every day if this is how it's going to be!!!:lmao:

I've been experimenting with a t-shirt design for the day of the canal crossing:

http://www.printfection.com/panama?...11&qty3=1&color4=111&qty4=1&color5=111&qty5=1

You can click on the shirt to see the image larger.

I like that, and the one without words later in the thread too.:thumbsup2

I just heard on the news that Charleton Heston died today.....moses!

lots of reports about his death on tv here. All the films - bringing back memories.

Grandmaz must think we're NUTS!!!! when she checks in!

I do!!:rotfl2:

Hi Granmaz!!! G'nite Granmaz!! Just skip right over the drunken babble of the last 50 to 60 pages or so!:rotfl2:

You'll all be getting up late I bet!!

John your brother's surgery should be going on now but just wanted you to know that I thinking of you and your family today. Hope everything turns out for the better.:grouphug:

Hi Ian
These are great!!! My husband doesn't feel comfortable wearing a shirt with Tink on it (!!), so I was wondering if you could do another version with Mickey Mouse on it instead?

If you can't, no trouble, just thought I would ask...

Thanks again for sharing these with us!

We're beginning to think about next year's 40th wedding anniversary trip.:scared1:

John would very much like to do a train journey accross Canada, which we would link in with many other places to visit.

Have any of you been on one of these epic rail journeys?

I am in the family waiting room at the hospital and trying to catch up.

I am the ONLY person in here on a Sunday morning . . .

Just thought I would post the entire thing for everyone . . .

A long, long time ago...
I can still remember
How that music used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And, maybe, theyd be happy for a while.

But february made me shiver
With every paper Id deliver.
Bad news on the doorstep;
I couldnt take one more step.

I cant remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride,
But something touched me deep inside
The day the music died.

So bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin whiskey and rye
Singin, thisll be the day that I die.
Thisll be the day that I die.

Did you write the book of love,
And do you have faith in God above,
If the Bible tells you so?
Do you believe in rock n roll,
Can music save your mortal soul,
And can you teach me how to dance real slow?

Well, I know that youre in love with him
`cause I saw you dancin in the gym.
You both kicked off your shoes.
Man, I dig those rhythm and blues.

I was a lonely teenage broncin buck
With a pink carnation and a pickup truck,
But I knew I was out of luck
The day the music died.

I started singin,
Bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin whiskey and rye
And singin, thisll be the day that I die.
Thisll be the day that I die.

Now for ten years weve been on our own
And moss grows fat on a rollin stone,
But thats not how it used to be.
When the jester sang for the king and queen,
In a coat he borrowed from james dean
And a voice that came from you and me,

Oh, and while the king was looking down,
The jester stole his thorny crown.
The courtroom was adjourned;
No verdict was returned.
And while lennon read a book of marx,
The quartet practiced in the park,
And we sang dirges in the dark
The day the music died.

We were singing,
Bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin whiskey and rye
And singin, thisll be the day that I die.
Thisll be the day that I die.

Helter skelter in a summer swelter.
The birds flew off with a fallout shelter,
Eight miles high and falling fast.
It landed foul on the grass.
The players tried for a forward pass,
With the jester on the sidelines in a cast.

Now the half-time air was sweet perfume
While the sergeants played a marching tune.
We all got up to dance,
Oh, but we never got the chance!
`cause the players tried to take the field;
The marching band refused to yield.
Do you recall what was revealed
The day the music died?

We started singing,
Bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin whiskey and rye
And singin, thisll be the day that I die.
Thisll be the day that I die.

Oh, and there we were all in one place,
A generation lost in space
With no time left to start again.
So come on: jack be nimble, jack be quick!
Jack flash sat on a candlestick
Cause fire is the devils only friend.

Oh, and as I watched him on the stage
My hands were clenched in fists of rage.
No angel born in hell
Could break that satans spell.
And as the flames climbed high into the night
To light the sacrificial rite,
I saw satan laughing with delight
The day the music died

He was singing,
Bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin whiskey and rye
And singin, thisll be the day that I die.
Thisll be the day that I die.

I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news,
But she just smiled and turned away.
I went down to the sacred store
Where Id heard the music years before,
But the man there said the music wouldnt play.

And in the streets: the children screamed,
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed.
But not a word was spoken;
The church bells all were broken.
And the three men I admire most:
The father, son, and the holy ghost,
They caught the last train for the coast
The day the music died.

And they were singing,
Bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin whiskey and rye
Singin, thisll be the day that I die.
Thisll be the day that I die.
