Hello love and once again I am a day late. I am learning all about this sleep stuff. Kinda nice to be able to wake up in the morning! :thumbsup2

I know what you mean, I spent 15 years doing late night shows in theaters and comedy clubs, so for me to change to mornings has been a huge undertaking.

I am SO Behind! I am going to try to take some time today and catch up. If I missed anything, or if anyone had any quetions to me, please PM me - I cleaned out my inbox.

John, I did read on this page about your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My DH's father had colon cancer, as well as DH's only uncle and 2 cousin (it is/was a hereditery type). I can't imagine all that your family is going through. Hang in there. Soon, you will be able to take a break from the harshness of life.

Deb, I used the term 2 boys in referring to Ian and Keith, I call Paul and Wilson my boys, one is big and one is little. Sorry for the confusion.

We four are going to the space shuttle place on Friday and I wondered if your boys want to join us? Maybe we should just meet up there if it works out?
We are planning to go there on Friday also:thumbsup2

=I love Backgammon and would love to play with him if he would like.
Carol
DS would love that he's 7 but picks up boardgames fast.....he's wanted to learn for a while now...thanks:goodvibes

Tomorrow is the day.

I pick up Mrs. Fezziwig. Very excited.

I did have to spend some quality time calming down Mrs. Bennett.

The toaster is feigning indifference, and the vacuum cleaner still just su... well let's not go there.
.

Can't wait to hear how she fits in with the family!

Just finished watching Enchanted with the girls for the first time. Now it is time to try and catch up on this thread before Numb3rs starts, right Nan?

Oh man, I always forget when Numb3rs is on....I really enjoy that show.

My first concert was Madonna at the Bill Graham Civic Center in SF in 1984....I wore alot of lace including gloves and had dangly earrings, and a headband. IT WAS AWESOME!!!

My first concet was TWENTY years before that....THE BEATLES!!!!

Really enjoyed Enchanted popcorn:: Its a cheesy musical - gotta love it. It was a bit too much for Ken, but it gives me the warm and fuzzies :teeth:

I really enjoyed Enchanted too...think I'll watch it again...ON THE SHIP! :thumbsup2

Yeah! Good question!

anybody???......anybody???????

Have we even decided where we want to go? I'd love a late breakfast seating at Storytellers, but also enjoy lunch on the patio at the Jazz Kitchen (didn't we do that last May with Mr & Mrs Woody?).

Yes, I look EXACTLY like my avatar!!:lmao: :lmao:

SO DO I! :lmao: ....just older and fluffier....and without a Tigger head growing out of my shoulder.....

I got a sad news today that my late mum's good friend passed away this morning after had a long battle of breast cancer.
I feel so gulty for not visiting her recently as she live in Glasgow.
I got text today I burst crying.

:grouphug: Deborah, I'm sorry about your mum's friend.

Oh god more sad news. Where is the merries news?

It is that in just 5 weeks time, we will all be meeting up to give these much-needed hugs to everyone in person. :cheer2:

You win, Jackie! I Want to Hold Your Hand.

Woody

No, I'd consider the Beatles a tie with Elvis! :thumbsup2

Weighed in this AM....I'm down 6.5 now! :woohoo: :woohoo:
Every pound down is less strain on the knees and hips and means being able to move around the ship more easily.

Well, it's past time for breakfast (had an hour long phone call with Chicago sister), so I'd better go build an omlette and get this day started.

later, kids

I was amazed at some of the first concerts..elvis and the beatles...thats too cool. One day my daughter will look back on my first concert and think I was cool too. My last concert was Christina Aguliera's Back to Basics. It was a great concert and she gave taylor and autograph and kissed her had. It was sweet and my daughter wasn't that impressed...who am I raising. She thought it was no big deal.

Today I will clean my house...today I will clean my house...I'll just keep repeating it and it will be done.

I have to get ready to shop on sunday.

Ok this is not me but this is what my hair looked like. A lot longer and thicker.

I couldn't find the karate shoes. I guess they weren't as popular as I thought. I like the thought of calling them happy shoes.

Now back to catching up.

I am not the greatest player because I don't get to play as often as I would like but I love kids and games so would be more than happy to teach him. I may bring my travel set, that way we could play most anywhere. Be sure and meet up with me on the ship or in the terminal so we can arrange a time.

It's not a board game, but does anyone play "Mexican Train Game" dominoes? Addicting!

Woody

YES! Another game I like. Are you bringing the dominoes?

Carol

There is no way I will catch up on the last couple of days. Just checking in here from somewhere in Delaware.....Newark I think. :) My uncle has made the trip fine so far, we still have a couple of days before we return home. Memorial (wake) was today. Now just a day to visit with my cousins wife and kids and then home.....where I wish I were now. :sad2:

Angie. Good to hear all is well. You'll be home soon, and back into cruise planning mode.

I'm a few days behind you with my similar sad journey. We're heading out on Monday for my DBro's funeral on Tuesday.

We had lovely time dining on the patio, though it was a bit chilly.
