Hi Deb! I was just thinking I hadn't seen you in awhile.![]()
No kidding! I'm shocked I'm able to finally catch up (well...almost....about 35 more pages to go), so I can tell they must be gone!where are the Wild West Women?
aka BLABBERMOUTHS.......
Ah yes.....that walk down the assembly line type setup...shot after shot...right down the line, with that thing that looks like an air gun from outer space. The worse ones I ever had were the ones given in the military....they almost threw them at you....and don't even go there about the atropine (sp) self-injectors....![]()
Thanks, I wanted to go to school at UCF but they don't offer my degree.

No Hooters Nan? Sounds like a personal problem . . .
She is fine . . . after several days of cleaning and the ear seeping . . . I told her NO EARING IN THAT EAR UNTIL YOUR MOM GETS HOME!
She is OK with that, and in fact would take the one out of the other ear now and wait until she is older, but she won't let me touch that one either! My opinion is that kids should not have earrings (pierced) until they are mature enough to do the "twisting" you have to do to establish the hole - rather than what happened with Sophia. She is a big scardy cat, and every little ouch frightens her, so she just does nothing.
my ears perked up at the sound of financials!
Too bad we are 5 million off forecast right now and the office is in a frenzy.
Tammy, behind the tears as I sit here trying to figure out what to say, I'm speechless. My heart breaks for you and your kids. You know we're all here and willing to listen any time you want to talk to us. I know for a fact that when you're hurting, getting it out, even through typing, does lighten the load the tiniest bit. So any time, we're all here for you. I just apologize for not having the right words.![]()
I don't normally get very spiritual, and tend to keep these things to myself.
But as of late, there have been so many people here who have been experiencing challenges and losses, with loved ones, friends and family.
I have been at a real loss for words. I thought I would share what does usually come to my mind, which is a very Jewish thought or prayer for healing. In our tradition, healing is not limited to physical health and well being, but includes emotional health and well being as well.
It is called the mi-shaberach, and very fundamental to our prayers (and usually sung).
"May the source of strength, Who blessed the ones before us
Help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing
And let us say: Amen.
Bless those in need of healing with r'fuah sh'leima
The renewal of body, the renewal of spirit,
And let us say: Amen."
I apologize is if this is a little overly spiritual and a bit out of character for me, and certainly in no way intend to sound preachy.
I hope that comfort and healing is brought to all who are in need of it, as I think of how often, all of us need it in one form or another.
No script yet. I talked with the OT and before she talks with his pediatrician about meds, she wants to wait until all the various people at school do their own evaluations and she speaks with all of them just to make sure all reports are consistent in all areas evaluated, and she'll provide all that data to his pediatrician too, along with her own evaluation report and we'll go from there. Should just be a couple more weeks. Not a quick process, but we really are getting somewhere.![]()
That's exactly how I am. I had never even held a newborn until Tyler. Never liked babies....still don't. Fortunately, Mother Nature took over while Tyler was a baby and got me through that stage.![]()
No catching up here. I am back at work and hundreds of pages behind. I will just jump back in the pool here and trust that my people will let me know if I missed anything. It is SO good to be home!
I don't really know what I read. I'm all doped up on Nyquil!

For all you guys out there that said you wouldn't be caught DEAD in a pair of Crocs. I want to let you know they have an new mens style out that is really KEWL. They are the Santa Cruz. Very light, very comfortable and ideal for the cruise. They come in several colors and run true to size. Check it out at www.crocs.com. I now have two pair of them along with my regular Mickey Crocs for days at the pool.![]()
