CRUISE BS.....

Fore those who have a reservation in Acapulco....DO you really have one? do you have a number? a time?
If so, do you have a contact.

It was just an email back where he confirmed (in poor English) my reservation. So I have no idea if it really exists or not. I have it for 6 people. The contact was the website that Gydell posted. I don't have it handy, but can find it if you need it. Lisa

mine is like that too. I figure hey we're on vacation, no worries.

Thanks for cheering up my night everyone.

Just one note to Tammy: I think you are an awesome mom. God Bless you!!

Lisa

cindy you needed one more drink. do the kids like hooters? we have one coming to town soon, I'm sure DH will be happy to visit it.

They love it. They beg to go. The girls give them special treatment and they give them balloons and make hats for them out of foil. B-days are a "hoot".

funny the star test must have moved in the state we are home for it too, darn it. I was hoping it was while we were gone then the kids would miss nothing. both my kids will be missing big in class work on projects, so they will have to do it on the ship. oh well. better that since it's fun than boring worksheets.

I would love to hear this tomorrow. I would love for my kids to be STAR testing during the cruise. That means no homework.
Tell me about it! I was all planned to have zero homework and miss the testing...now testing up until the moment we drive up at noon the 9th of May to pick them up for the airport! Bummer!
Hey, can I join in on the "shot team"?????? I can bring the ever fun B12 shots so we all get a nice energy burst:cool1:
Sounds like a plan!
much better and more like our guys don't ya think?
Yes, for sure. They are going ALL the way. FYI - I got play-off tickets for Round 1, game 2 if anyone local is interested. It is for the Plaza suite area, $125/ticket includes dinner and 2 drink tickets. I get them to offer them to my staff and doctors. But I can sell some of them to non-work. Just PM! I love play-off hockey!!
Just one note to Tammy: I think you are an awesome mom. God Bless you!!

Ditto!
And Lisa, hope you are doing okay. You are going to have such a great time on this cruise with your son. So much time together!
Lisa

Smarties... they taste better...

...

Ok, sounds yummy. Since you all are queens, I think I get to be a princess. My PJ's even say "Move Over Cinderella":rotfl:

Wow - lots of rough stuff happening to people. Happy wishes sent to everybody that needs them.:wizard:

DD6 still wants her ears pierced after getting shots today. She said her ears will hurt more, but she wants to do it. Last time round, it was a nightmare. Lots of guilty feelings for me after she reacted to the cheap earrings - my gut said not to let her. Next time listen to my gut. Only the good stuff for her. She still reacts to the metal snaps on her jeans, so I have to paint them all with nailpolish. I've made an appointment for both girls for Sat, but still undecided about DD3. She's a rough and tumble girl and don't want her to end up infected or earrings ripped out.

For those out there that got their DD's ears pierced in the past, what did you use to keep them clean? :confused3 The disinfectant they sell at the earpiercing place really stings. I read that polysporin works just as well, so thinking about using it this time.
I have pierced ears and can't wear any earrings. Even the expensive, real stuff effects my ears badly. My sister isn't allowed to pierce hers as she has asthma and it can cause problems with her skin. My step-dad is a dermatologist and hates pierced ears, my mom on the other hand has the gun to do it and knows how. I love the earrings but even on my wedding day I didn't wear earrings. One hole also grows over.

Tammy- Your post made me call my sick grandmother was in ICU. I found out she is home and eating normal food but has to have a nurse and physical therapist 3 times a week. They expect her to make a good recovery.

Make sure to tell the ones you love what they mean to you. We had a friend die in high school on his way to see his girlfriend b/c they were in a fight. The last thing she told him was she hated him.:sad1: So never go to bed or drive mad always resolve your problems.

I was going to tell you that you were probably allergic to the nickel in gold, which is my problem, but you told me that your dad was a dermatogist so I figure you have heard that before.

I have never wanted to be a Queen, ask my Grandma....I always told her (when I was really little) that Queens were old and I will always be a princess.

Damn.....OT and now, my Underdogs are not doing well.....up even later as I am making DH stay up and watch the Bachelor.
