Deb, you don't go around sozzled all cruise do you?:lmao:

Ha Ha Ha.....no.....Inbetween I'll drink many cokes/water so that I can pace myself and last the full day and night. If I drink too much I get sick and there's no way I want that....so I'm always careful at the first sign of getting tipsy, I'll switch off alcohol immediately.

I knew you wouldn't but it was so funny reading all your last posts!!

Sea days sounds good and sooner then later would most likely be a good idea.

Cheri:

We have to not conflict with the group picture or scrapbook times/days too!!! Check pj's calendar and then have her add this to it once you have decided what to do, ok?:goodvibes

Good sunny afternoon Thieves.

It's gotten to be a nice spring day here in Northern CA. I'm feeling the tug of wanting to head to the coast....maybe this weekend we'll sneak over.

I'm worried about Molly's knee. She was very swollen last night. Not wanting to take her to the doctor since there isn't anything they can do and it will be all out of pocket for a visit, which I figure would be including xrays +$500. I'm going to drop her teacher a note to ask if she can sit out of pe for the week.

Wish me luck.

Chat with you later tonight...back to work.:surfweb:

Does anyone know anything about Jacksonville, FL? Darrell has a real chance of being offered a transer there and we're curious what the area is like.

Hi Lisa - not sure if anyone has answered this yet - I'm way behind.....Jacksonville is about 1 hr north of St Augustine along I95. It would take you about 2-2 1/2 hrs to get to Orlando. I went to school there for 3 years.......ages ago (early 80's) so am assuming alot has changed. It is a
"city" with rush hour and traffic and tall buildings (comparing that skyline to Orlando's and JAX is packed!). From what I've heard restaurants & shows are good there.

Maybe Deb can give you more up to date info as I think that's where her brother was stationed for a while.

Come and move closer to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

I just wanted to drop in and say hello. By now, you've probably figured out that we had to drop out of the cruise. DH's business is growing so well, we just can't really justify the time right now. He's promised me a christmas or 2009 cruise instead. I'm holding out for when the new ships arrive.

Anyway, I wish I could still be going. I hope you all have a grand time. I'll check in from time to time to dream.

Fair winds, calm seas and disney dreams,
~Tori

I'm sorry you won't be joining us, but how exciting about your husband's business. Having grown a business ourselves we understand those constraints. Only now are we reaping the benefits. I hope things continue to go well for you and you can get on that Christmas or 2009 cruise and have a great time!

Hey I have been looking at one of those on eBay. It is a buy it now at $240 plus another $50 for shipping. How much are they on CC?

I thought it was $200 with a $50 shipping fee but my account bill says $253. Course, if you wait long enough - you may get a discount. ;)

No carryout's allowed on the big fig. Guess they got to make a bit extra on the shipping you know. Sorta like the $5 port fee charge - which I'm sure they are not making any money on. It's raining down. I know.

I just read PJs note about the whole laptop being less expensive than just a new screen. Wow. I can't believe that.....shows you how much I don't know about techno toys.....that's what I have DH for!!!

An LCD monitor, will be an ok price, but a Laptop LCD is always expensive, then the labour cost of taking the laptop apart and putting it back together again.

Hi

I see you have westbound and Eastbound too?

Also I see that you had been in Westbound in May 05? And July 07 at Med. Our Cruise was 18th to 28th July 07 and I see you were on the cruise with UK Andrew and Helen.

Deborah I had a good look around the sales but didn't buy - didn't really have time to try etc. Looked like there were some good prices.

A question about the Hyatt at MCO. We arrive late on Friday the 9th because I have to work that day.

Is anything happening for breakfast at the Hyatt on the morning of the 10th?

I think Jackie & I are doing room service.

I hope Molly's knee bets better soon. I must have missed somewhere what happened - did she injure it? Good idea to rest it and not do PE.

NO... we expect you to get your butts up...drag yourselves to whatever fast food place sells stuff your not supposed to be eating... grab a fast fix and get said butts over to the port ASAP!!!!! :thumbsup2

We are taking DCL transport over to the port. I just suspected that we might eat before we do. We're funny that way.
