Yes. Really dinky airport. Had to land there on my last trip when there was a problem at SNA, and sat on the tarmac for an hour. It was about a 10 minute flight to SNA.

Ontario airport is the best! When were you there? It used to be really small, no jetways, etc. That was changed a while back when they built the two new terminals. I prefer to fly out of Ontario now - less people, easy parking, it's clean! Oh well, everyone has different tastes - that's what makes the world go round! :goodvibes

And Steph our OTHER sister too :lmao: :lmao:

Didn't know if she had posted about that or not but yes Nan and Steph work in that field. Funny thing is I did a few years back as well. Must be that whole great minds think alike thing going on here! :rotfl:

Okay, so I'm back and I left on page 58 and came back at 181. Don't think I'll be able to read since I'm swamped at work doing month end and in the middle of all the $$$ coming in for the cookie sale this month.

I've got answers and I'll have to post later, but all is well in the world and my little mini cruise was wonderful.

I'll try to get work caught up so I can post some more later.

If I missed anything, let me know what I missed!

Bad MIL week. She was set to leave for Betty Ford today, but blew it and ended up elsewhere (yes you can read between the lines)

Paul is home and sick, so not helping with the kids.

I've got a headache...

Other than that, I'm good :lmao:

Seriously the tulips are in full bloom, I'll get some pics to post tommorrow.

Sorry your MIL is still not on the right path yet. Hope today is going better for you. :flower3:

Yeah, we like those pop ups....we need the cheat sheets to understand what's going on in their world. You could probably watch it online too like Holly does.
Are the popups what the enhanced version is? I saw that online and didn't know what the heck it was, so I meant to check, but then my computer died.

So I'm here checking at work again! Have been reading a few pages on and off, but actually do have lots of work to do today. Getting closer to being caught up! On page 109 now I think.

HI EVERYBODY! :yay:

I have read a few reviews and of coarse Disney's is better. But Aquatica has real Commersion's Dolphins! I am a huge dolphin freak. WHen I worked at WDW I had a season pass to Seawolrd and went once a week. I wanted to be a Marine Biologist when I grew up.
Ooooh! You need to spend some time talking to Heather's (threebritts) daughter Bethany! She wants to be a Marine Biologist.

Morning everyone! Today is just a beautiful day here in Southern Cal.

Hope you all have a great day!! I'll check back in later...now, don't talk too much while I'm gone!!! :lmao:

Welcome back Linda. Glad you had a wonderful mini cruise.

YES BBCs by the pool, BUT Carribbean Lemonades everywhere else on the boat! BBCs are very filling and I can only drink one or two of them and usually do so at the pool, then I switch to Carribbean Lemonades.

Glad your shirt fits good!

What is a Caribbean Lemonade?

Hello everyone. I have been reading off and on for the last few days but haven't had time to post. I hope everyone is well. I have been shopping a lot for the cruise and I'm still not even close to being done. I haven't quite figured out how all the stuff is going to fit in the suit cases! It seems like most days we have to wear two outfits. I guess you all know what I'm going through. I have to volunteer in Brooke's class today but I will check in to see what everyone is talking about.

That's a great view. Roll on May!!!

Hi, glad you found time to pop in. I know what you mean about all the clothes etc. We have an extra suitcase, but i'm still worried!!!:lmao:

I wonder if people who booked several rooms are getting assigned before people who booked one cabin only? :confused3

I booked three rooms 15-20 minutes after they went on sale and they gave me room numbers right then! I am really glad that I do not have the added worry about getting stateroom numbers. Funny thing is I do not know what my room number is unless I look on the papers as I do not have it memorized yet.:)

Hi there - another opportunity to post pictures! Yeah - I'm giddy - anyway, at the widest point which is Goofy holding an umbrella and the beach ball - it is about 18 8nches wide. The base is about 17 inches wide. Mickey, Minnie and Pluto are about 11 inches tall or just over a size 9 in women's shoes. Don't ask - I was looking for a ruler and couldn't find it - the closest I had was DD's shoe and she wears a size 9. Then DH came up with this tape measure. Close-ups probably throw off the distortion but at least you can see.

Goofy at widest point:

And Minnie - about 10 inches:

Close-up of Goofy - hard to see but its 16 inches:

Mickey on base - about 11 inches:

And can't leave off Pluto:

Hope this helps - it is a bit heavy so if you order it - don't drop it! I was lifting my other big fig when I was vacuuming and I grabbed it by Goofy's nose - broke off the tip but thank goodness for superglue - looks like nothing ever happened to it!

Thanks for all the information!!! I hope you've found a wonderful place for it!!

afternoon....I am ready to go! I brought my gym clothes so I hope to hit the treadmill after work before I pick up the girls.
John has an early game tonight....so girls nite in!

I am going to try and clean off my cruise table (aka the dining room table) tonight. The girls are going to do a paperchain project for the countdown.

My mom and sister went to Aquatica on Saturday. I don't think my mom was all that impressed but my sister liked it.

Hi everyone! Welcome back Linda.

I'm still thinking about all the 9/11 stories...that is all so scary. I can't imagine what it was like. At the time, I worked in a hospital in a city that has, I think, the highest Muslin population in America (Fremont, CA). Anyway, of course the very high majority of people who practice Muslin are the exact opposite of what we saw on that day. That being said, it was very interesting how a small community became at odds. One comment from one employee about justifying the actions of the terrorists caused a complete shut-down - mandatory management meeting, strong response. They re-built the entrance of the hospital so no vehicle could run into building (built huge pillars). It was surreal, but no where as near as troubling as the stories shared.

Since then, there continues to be division in that area (in my opinion). More recently, a mother of 6 was murdered - and it was suspected it was because of her religion.

Very sad from all perspectives, except from the murderers' perspectives. Reminds me to make pray for peace AND justice.

A question about the Hyatt at MCO. We arrive late on Friday the 9th because I have to work that day.

Is anything happening for breakfast at the Hyatt on the morning of the 10th?

At one time, I was going to plan a champagne/mimosa brunch in one of the meeting rooms. I kinda put that on the back burner, mostly because I think most of us are going to be getting up and heading to the port so early. Not sure if anyone else started to plan something? Lisa
