I guess I'm going to have to go and buy shoes to go with the tuxedo. One wears patent leather with a tux, right? Yeah, like I'm going to have lots of occasions to wear patent leather shoes ... What am I saying? As if I'm going to have lots of occasions to wear tails or a white dinner jacket again.

Maybe I'll just wear flip flops with the tux.

Or, even better, sandals .... with white socks!

.

Duuuuuude, every good DISer knows that you wear lime green crocs with your tux!

Deb,

I've been meaning to ask you. Are you the one who works out at the Ballet Barre or do I have you mixed up with someone else? Are you a dancer? I teach ballet, tap, jazz and danceline part-time and I've been meaning to start taking lessons again because it gives me such a good workout!

Jolene

I have a dance studio and teach ballet, tap, acrobatics, jazz and Ukrainian dancing. I have my studio in our basement and have small classes. Was interested when I saw your posting.

I have a neighbor who has promised that if I leave any of my plants with her...that they would be dead... :rotfl2: She means well, she's just not a gardener... (I plant the tomatos in the neighborhood and supply her well!!!)

& now I know why I clicked on Mouse Manager!!! :)

HOLLY CHECKED IN THIS MORNING... HER COMPUTER IS STILL DOWN...SHE IS DROPPING IT OFF FOR REPAIR TONIGHT... WILL CHECK IN WHEN SHE CAN - SENDS :grouphug: TO EVERYONE!!!

Well if they oversold me... I'm suing!!!! (class action anyone???)

Jolene... there is a wonderful book about the people who had to fly into Gander New Foundland on 9/11 on the way to the US and how a small town took in so many people...

Amazon has it... I got it out of the library...

I read the book about the people in Gander. It was a very good book. I was on maternity leave on 9/11 and watched the tv in disbelieve.

Yeah, well I didn't mind posting it so I didn't have anything to lose! Now let's see yours! (don't take that the wrong way;) )

Who ME?????

No, I don't think so . . . .

I found a badge the other day from one of the two HS reunions we had, it had that picture on it. I threw it away!

morning....crazy day at work - month end close and all.
we tend to tip heavy at Palo......

anything else exciting going on?
where is ontario california? close to LA?

Yes. Really dinky airport. Had to land there on my last trip when there was a problem at SNA, and sat on the tarmac for an hour. It was about a 10 minute flight to SNA.

Another word about Mouse Manager ...

Don't Forget to Register :)

Just wanted to add my 2 cents that Ian did a wonderful job with Mouse Manager. My only regret is that I haven't had much time to play with it.

And . . . if it is still in there, one of the pictures of Vero Beach is one of my photos!

This could work...

How do you see it? I'm thinking a 45-60 min. "study hall" type thing--kids bring their assignments, I supervise, answer questions, help them, etc. How many times/sessions do you think we'd need to do this?

Anyone else interested?

3 times would be great!

I don't know very much about it (Yu-gi-oh), even though I have watched him play. He does local tournaments. He "duels" just like the tv show, but does not play in games where cards are won from other players. The people that put on the tournaments here, realized that older kids were taking the good cards from the younger or less experience players, so they stopped that. Trading can only take place if the event organizer oversees the trading.

I have not seen the Pokeman card game played, but he has the cards and a book about. Cameron said he would play/teach a simplified version, just so new players could begin to get the hang of it, he is still learning about the system. And I do know that he does like just to sit around and compare cards if that is what your son would like to do.

Joseph

I'm sure they will have fun with their cards.:goodvibes
