OK John, I've thrown down the gauntlet:
Now let's see YOUR picture!!!

Cheri_2.jpg

Class of '67

What Gauntlet???

That's not a bad picture!

You haven't seen bad, and mine is not scanned, and Amy does not know how to even scan.

V . . . born in 1974? I was a Freshman!

I should have said house sitter, we have a college girl that stays at our house. The dogs want to be in and with someone at night. At least that's what they tell me. She seems happy to house sit as she lives with 5 roommates. I think her time at our house is a bit of an escape.

I wish we had someone like that! When we lived in Illinois another grad student would move in with the cats and all we did was stock the fridge. He just wanted access to our cable tv.:happytv:

V...Thanks for sharing the pics and telling about Shaun. I shared with Jaide and she got very jealous! Glad you guys had fun. I agree with you though it is usually the adults that are the crazy ones...when the girls were waiting to meet Miley Cyrus last year, they were getting pushed out of the way by adults!!!! I was shocked and got very mad because they could have hurt my kids :scared1:

John,

My yearbook is 1973. Do we know how to say double knit polyester and platforms?

You really DID kill Polyester for your clothes!!!

that reminded me of why I just stay on the letter of the law.

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... sorry...

Our favorite travel game is 5000 (played with dice). I think it goes by many other names, but it is fun and great for math skills for the girls. And, yup, I travel with the mickey dice too!:goodvibes

I play that!!! & where do you get Mickey Dice????

I should have said house sitter, we have a college girl that stays at our house. The dogs want to be in and with someone at night. At least that's what they tell me. She seems happy to house sit as she lives with 5 roommates. I think her time at our house is a bit of an escape.

I used to pet sit for 3 cats and 2 dogs for my friend...it wasn't too bad, except that I couldn't figure out how to turn the heat on and I ended up sleeping with all 5!!!

you know...what gets me, and no offense to those on here that may do it...BUT things like ESPN weekend are really supposed to be about the "fans"....every year I see it but this year, there were several families...well, all adults, who all had BAGS of helmets, baseballs, footballs, etc...the gals - who had no clue who many of the guys were - were asking ok you want who on what - the helmet or basball?

To me it really was disgusting, these are people selling the collectibles. and in EVERY case....once they see that, they don't want to be anywhere near you.

& I'll bet the rest are on Ebay as we speak...

I LOVE IT!! Now if only you can teach me something about this camera other than the auto, on and off buttons!!!:thumbsup2

ps how do I copy and get that printed?

Save it to your pictures (right click and save) then you can upload it to Photobucket or to Kodak and get pics made that way...

A little question for you wine connoisseurs out there.

My wife and I are NOT wine drinkers. I will occassionally have a drink of wine but my wife has never really acquired a taste for it.

She doesn't mind champagne tho, and last time at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival she discovered she likes Creme de Cassis in the champagne. However, we have been trying different types of wines lately (ok about 4 or 5 so far) to see if we can find something she likes. I pretty much will drink any type so far. Recently she tried a white zinfandel and didn't mind it.

We noticed that there was one on the wine list for the cruise - Beringer White Zinfandel. So we went to the local Liqour store and bought a bottle and she didn't mind it either. But ... the 750ml bottle only costs $10 here. Online I think the price was $26.00 for on the ship.

So now the question: Is this for the same size bottle or is it bigger????

White Zin is cheaper in this country...

yes 1982 ROCKS!!!! I'd bring my year book, I was much smaller then (size 2) but it makes me sad, so forget it.

Yes, I will let her decide and in that vain, she can make the call to the hair salon to make the appoointment, which will never happen because she doesn't remember that stuff in the right places, driving in the car, at night or on the weekend. When she is ready for it, she can make the call or ask me to help at the right time, then I will know she is really ready. Until then I'd be doing the arranging and that doesn't make sense to me for something like this. She also needs to get the application from the locks of love website and yes she knows how to google for fun stuff, so again when she is ready she will figure out that part too. I'm safe on this for a while I suspect.

Let her go mom.... it's a big decision... but it grows back!!! Maybe the local Cancer society can hook you up with some kids in the area she may be helping... (to convince you of course...)

YOU'RE 82?????? Oh Cool!!! Knew we were Kindered souls!!!

No....

Not MY high school photo... but the same high school....

I learned quite a bit this trip...we stayed less than a mile from WDW and while I would never stay there again there were TONS of hotels right there.

we had a horrible time renewing our passes...and it was partly my fault. EVERY YEAR....instead of paying the renewal rate my Dad goes to the Disney Store and buys NEW ap's....so here is the first discrepency.....my renewal is LESS than what my Dad paid. THE CHICK at MGM did not seem to get that and I wich I had had my receipt and my Excel worksheet with all the info on it.

What ended up happening after anout 40 minutes...we are NEW passholders....with a NEW date which is not what I want. we have never had an issue before. So basically my Dad lossed money.

Cheri:
I wouldn't hesitate to post that pic if that was me from HS:goodvibes ...my HS pic will remain forever hidden in a yearbook somewhere in this house! :lmao:

Glad you like it.

As for the camera, that's the beauty of it - you don't really need to know much more as it really is a nice camera. Just don't forget to use the movie mode too - just the push of a button.

As for a copy of it here is the link to it on my flickr page. However, it isn't very large so I'm not sure how well it will work as a 4x6. It's only 450 x 600

this is absolutely the case....nothing was going on...we - ok, I was by the "hat" John and the girls were going on the movie ride - I was waiting by the cars....as soon as the guys left the stage all hell broke loose and people were bum rushing me from behind....I said forget it....last year the same thing but a bit worse with Herschel Walker...

oh and John got Darrel Dawkins and quite a few others....we still have our spot...and not many people know about it!!:thumbsup2

ok PK, I thought was Pre Kinder....what is a PSE?

PSE = Photoshop Elements

It's a software package from Adobe for manipulating photos. It's the baby brother to the full fledged Photoshop, which is really powerful but more than I need (Plus tres $$$$)

ok PK, I thought was Pre Kinder....what is a PSE?

Photo Shop Elements, a software program that you can use to do neat things with photos, among other things!

DUH...Print Shop--old Mac program from way back (around the time V was born...:-;)

I think I have photoshop....but now, my pc at work blew up and I um was absent Friday....when I got a new one.
I do have an old photoshop on my home pc.

love wine..and that price on the ship is for the same size bottle.
Do you guys like sweet.....dry....?

Figured as much. Wow what a markup plus, I bet, the 15% gratuity too, right?

Sweet, dry we have no idea at this point. She likes the White Zinfandel I believe that is a dry. She likes fruity drinks and Martinis (chocolate is her favourite). I like Rye and Coke and a good blonde beer - keeps it simple.
