Good Morning, afternoon or evening where ever you are.

I was wondering if I could get some imput from the digital scrappers here. I have never done any type of scrapping and I'm taking Linda's class on board, but I think I would really like to get into digital scrapping. So for those of you who do this, what programs do you use. Any advice you can share would be great.

I see nothing wrong with "Zed"! In fact that's what my daughters say regardless of Sesame Street and other US programming.

When I was in high school we had an exchange student from Australia in my math class. On one of her early days into the system, we were writing a quiz and she turned to one of the loud outspoken jocks and asked to borrow his "rubber". She learned quickly the difference here in Canada.

I missed out on 10+ pages! My eye was so bad last night I could not keep it open. I am not sure what I did to it. It's ok today but still a little swollen.

V, go to your eye doctor right away. This happened to me 3 years ago. At first I thought I had an eyelash or something in there that wouldn't go away, then when my eye was swollen and I could barely keep it open, I had it checked for pinkeye at a regular doc, he told me he thought he saw something in it and referred me to an eye doc. Turns out I had a PIECE OF GLASS in my eye. Do NOT mess around with this. No idea how it happened, but he removed it and all is well.

John will knock out his passport tomorrow and hopefully they will arrive back in time. There were quite a few families applying...I suppose getting ready for summer vacations.

My backup plan is to make sure someone is collecting our mail if we don't get it. That way, if it arrives while we are at sea and we need it, someone can overnight or 2 day it (some countries will take two days). Most emergencies that would happen, you can't necessarily fly out that same day anyway - even if you are within the States. Also, I think if the passport agency has your application (and has had it for 8 weeks), and you suddenly need it, the U.S. embassy would be able to quickly process it since it would already be in the system. I would make sure you have those birth certificates handy just in case! Before our January cruise, I thought I knew exactly where it was and about 2 weeks before the cruise, I went to go get it and it wasn't there! I had to turn the house upside down to try to find it. Very stressful! We are going tomorrow to get the kids passports and mine...I have to make up some story to the kids as to why we need them since they don't know yet about the cruise. Anyone have a good fib?

I wonder who got my Cat. 1! Boy, that would have been great, but DH's business is still a bit slow so very good move not diving into that situation.

I love Photoshop Elements, under $100 and lots of freedom.

There are some really simple tutorials on line to get you started. And most of the "papers" and "elements" I collect for free from designer blog giveaways. I also collect templates that allow me to add in my papers and elements, a photo or two, can be done a page in about 15 minutes or so.

Lisa, tell them you need it for identification for something they're signing up for at school. Maybe sports? Or you could just tell them you'd like to have them on hand so you don't have to worry about rushing to get them if you ever decide to vacation somewhere that requires passports.

I am on that evil mac platform, and anxiously awaiting the shippment of PSE 6.0 for mac. It has been out for windows for about 6 months and I hear great things about it. I haven't use anything else, well I tried Photoshop, but it scared me so I took it off my computer, lol.
