Is everyone staying at a DL hotel. We are staying at Candy Cane Inn since we will only be there one day.I am thinking in 2009 going to DL, SW, USH, and seeing California in general.

We are using DVC points at GC

OK, all this cruise chat has gotten me sail-crazy! So I cracked yesterday and booked a (non-DCL) cruise in 24 days.... no husband, no kids... just a friend and I.
Everyone thinks I'm crazy.... but we're getting hit with yet another snow storm! I'm so outta here!

ok, so I'm not even going to try to catch up here.

been busy with school--had another exam yesterday and got an A (Whoo Hoo!!) clinicals start this week, which means I'm going to be in care plan hell. but with every one I write, that's one less week until the cruise!!!!!!!

started making plans for hotels and car rentals this weekend. whoever mentioned the choice certificate for the Hyatt-thanks worked like a charm so far and saved me 75 bucks. found a hotel in SAn Diego for after the cruise, all that's left is to call enterprise for a rental car in LA....

Umm...me too much drinking I did find the snacks outside rockin bar d but they weren't no drunk people food...it was more sophisticated snacks...don't they know when you've been drinking and need to crawl 3 flights up the back stairs to get to your room, all you want is greasy soak up the alcohol food!
Do you like my special english above...and I'm leaving it, cause thats how I said it in my head!



I agree with all of the above...and have to add that if you want pizza, redd rockets always has a special pizza, not just cheese, pepp and veggie. It's always good. Plus your discount AP or DVC works there.
Also, if you go into California Adventure and want lunch..try Boudin down at the pier. Yummy bread bowl soups and salads..but especially the soups!

Try calling DCL...sometimes they magically find a space.

The pizza is good I do agree and Jacinda always has some kind of pasta which is pretty good too.

Doug and I would like to introduce Mickey's Mouse better known as Mickey. He came home today and right now is telling us in no uncertain terms that we should be paying attention to him and not the Dis. The cats aren't quite sure what to make of him.

Totally the Bond look. Well being the photo nag-hag that I am I'm going to ask you if I can get you and Wilson all together for the tux pic. I think it would be fabulous!!! Crap, I'm in trouble, I just made photo plans for the boy, he will kill me now...don't tell him. I'll bribe him on site and get away with it...my master plan strikes again

The Candy Cane is SOOOOO convenient to the parks (closer to the entrance than the Disneyland Hotel)!

I would choose the DL Hotel last out of the three hotels on property due to the fact it is farther away then the other two. I have friends who have stayed at the candy cane and they all loved how close it was.
