Unless we should just chalk this particular version of Bobby up as a punctured loss and just forward on his suitcase w/goodies & passport onto whoever has the other Bobby version.

Well, Sophia does not have school tomorrow because of teacher in-service. So she had a grand total of one day of school this week. Turns out it was the only important day, the day of the Valentine's party.

Probably a good thing that I took the week off. Sophia got a lot of daddy time this week!

I work for the Feds, so of course I am off. DrHug is working somewhere. Today is my Friday, so 4 day weekend for me!

Darrell has Monday off paid. I have Monday off because the place I work is closed - we work at the same location but I'm a contractor so I don't get as many paid holidays.

Our Friday is next Friday so no four day weekend but only a 3-day work week next week!!!

Hmmmm.....speaking of jewelry, I wonder if I should bring my display jewelry on the cruise, people could borrow if needed (with some sort of sign out sheet), and I could do a jewelry show on a sea day. Could be fun trying on jewelry at sea!

That could be fun. And if we ordered new jewelry we could have something to look forward to when we get home instead of just moping around that our trip is over.

Does Dominos Pizza still have their 30 minute guarantee for delivery? Or did that disappear in the 80s?

Nope - I think it disappeared after they got sued for an accident or something. Now they they still say 30 minutes but it is no longer quaranteed or free. (we eat a lot of Domino's)

Since my dad is gone (2 years now) I do not deal with my steps (sises and mom). They came to Thanksgiving this past year (a whole family invite), which is the only time I have seen them. Step mom has called me once, I have not called her. No need, I am no longer connected in any way and it feels really, really good. And I AM Cinderella. My Prince took me away from all that and has shown me a whole new world....oh wait, wrong princess.

You know Angie... I'm wondering what it's going to be like... I think in a way it's going to be a relief to have her out of my life - we've NEVER gotten along... too many lies told... & my steps... I met them once. None of us even went to the wedding (I got invited on Thursday...they got married on Sunday... 5 states away...) (guilt invite, I imagine...)

I only wish for a prince as good as yours...

GTY ROOMS--MY SOLUTION

If you want an idea of when rooms are going to be assigned, someone go over to the thread for May 3, 2008 and ask someone if they will post on our thread when their GTY status gets changed and rooms get assigned.

Once they assign out the Magic for 5/3/08, then our cruise is next and then you can be checking every hour to see if your stateroom number is there.

Might save you some time from going to that "super fast" DCL site to check every hour of every day.

I'm pretty sure that it's going to be around 8 am on 5/10...

well I finally made it home....I am so glad tomorrow is Friday. I got the dresses my mom bought for me already and let's just say....I have some serious work to do to get in them!

Don't we all!!! We went to Coldwater today and tried things on.. and then I got the loving speech from mother dear... "you know....you really need to lose some weight..." At least she didn't pat my tummy when she said that...

Forgive me if I am too punchy here, but it took me 2 days to get home from Florida. My Ft Myers flight was delayed because of freezing rain in Atlanta and I missed my connecting flight to SLC, the last one of the night. Everyone on the flight missed thier connections and there was a lot of yelling at the flight attendants and even more yelling at the gate agents. I went to the crown room, and no joke, burst into tears. I wanted to go home so bad! I think because I was the first person not to yell, they were so nice! There was no need for yelling, it is an act of god. Anyway, they forced me on to the first flight out at six fifty, it was overbooked and had a waitlist of over 40. Then they gave me a free hotel night and a tshirt to sleep in. My only question is. why doesn't anyone sell saline solution? Seriously, no one with contacts has ever been layed over in an airport?

Anyway, the morning flight was delay another 1 1/2 in the morning while we were sitting on the ground with no heat, due to mechanical problems. I wore the same yicky clothes for 2 days and my contact is glued to my eyeball and I wanted to kiss the ground when I finally got to my car.

what a day...

I think it was posted in the first thread. Nan altered a heart shaped valentine candy box and put pictures inside cupcake wrappers to look like candies inside. Not the best description.

Actually the freeways less than 15 miles from us are closed due to heavy snow. San Diego county is strange I live in the desert but can see mountains from our parking lot. And we can see the snow covering them but I've yet to meet anyone who remembers it actually snow where I live.

Oh man!! You have had a tough week! You do not need to loose weight unless you are at a weight that is unhealthy, or keeps you from doing things you want to do. My pet peeve, you are not loveable unless you fit a certain mold. NOT!! We have a DD that gets comments that she is too thin! No, she isn't, she is built that way, straight as a stick no...um, no need for a bra I guess is the DIS way to say it, but she eats alot, has no eating disorder. We are built the way we are and we are all beautiful!! Sorry, off my soapbox now.
