We can no longer ship to the port (or ship). The last week that this was allowed was the week we went in November. They are fine with "beverages" being brought on board, so we can ship to Hotels.

Karen

So how exactly do we get them on? In a box with 12 bottles or in our suit cases?

Um... wasn't there a skating rink under there somewhere???

It's still out there. Just in a different part of the backyard. But yes it is a little buried right now, but won't be for long. The girls are already asking abot skating on it.

And be sure and bring an extension cord with you for your cpap. :thumbsup2

Thanks, That's a great point-I meant to include that but forgot.:) I read about the ext. cord on a board before our cruise in Nov. I don't think I could have used my c-pap without it-very few, and far-away outlets in the room. Vicki

Also, I've been bringing along a little nightlight that I plug in at night for those late at night trips to the bathroom. We usually stay in an inside cabin and behind those curtains it gets pitch black especially since DH has a nasty habit of putting a towel under the doorstop so ABSOLUTELY no light gets in. I had enough after DH stubbed his toe in the middle of the night and blamed me for it. OH those battery operated tap lights work too but sometimes they are glaringly bright after being pitch black.

Anyone else with this trouble?

Feb. 25 is gonna be rough!

Hopefully it won't be as bad as it was on Feb 10th. Just be prepared for the worst and if it's working fine, then you're good to go. In the end some excursions that were booked up on the 10th ended up opening up today...so don't be too worried. It'll work out fine! What excursions are you guys booking?

I see a door magnet design in my future.:lmao:

Yes please?? 90 cabins in this group I think!!

Hello Scottishwee35 and Lynnise

Scottishwee35 - You did the 10 night in the Med? I believe I remember you from some posts you posted on the last 11 night Med. You popped up there once in a while.

Lynnise - is this the same Lynnise from the July 28th Med Cruise? Its Laura! The lady taking ALL KINDS OF PICTURES (in everybody's faces - sorry) I still have your picture of you and your mom - did your sister go too? I also have one of you and your mom I believe in the hallway outside Lumiere's.

How neat - I didn't know you were going!!!!!!

:woohoo:

BTW, did I ever mention that I love to take pictures??????

(and you never know where I may show up - I take bribes too! :rolleyes1 )

Does this mean I will have to hold my tummy in for ALL of the cruise now in case that camera makes an appearance!!!

Good Idea!
I can see that on about 500 CC members doors .....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:lmao:
Nice form letter with your info inserted. :rolleyes1

I find that they do that with important issues very insulting!:sad2:

John, are you a Johnathan?
My John is just a John, John Henry....and my "brother" John is just a John, a John Victor.

My John is just John - John Martin.

When I was 22, I coughed so hard I "cracked my lung" and a small amount of air got stuck outside the lung (as I remember....long time ago). Went to the hosiptal and had to stay for a few days....BOY did it hurt!!

My mom broke a rib coughing!!

Wow, this thread is a little overwhelming, so I thought I'd jump right in. We're flying down on Friday night the 9th and are staying at the Hyatt MCO.

I had the same problems Saturday night as everyone else. I had wanted Palo high tea, but it was gone by the time I managed to get in at 5:30 AM.

I did book dinner at Palo. I also booked the harbor cruise and the outdoor adventure.

So, I'm a bit overwhelmed by everything going on with this cruise. I haven't really thought much about it until final payment was due.

I don't even know where I should begin! What should I be joining in with? I am in desperate need of some planning assistance!:scared1:

Can't remember if you got help when contin uing to read through and catch up. Read Page 1 here, get the access code for Pj's website which has just about all the info, and ask away on here!!! Lots of things to join in with if you want to.

I will be working on the BUNCO list over the next several days. I went and looked at it (I think I will post the entire list) and some of the names on it I SWEAR I have never seen before.

If you want to play BUNCO...and have not sent me a PM...(I have all the old ones) send me a note and I wlill post the list in the next few days.....

Lisa
Deb or one of the Lisa's has an up to date of who is coming along on the cruise. If you get this you could cross reference.

Just a quick note to say that we decided to take a different trip this year. We put our toe in the water for this cruise after the May repo last year, and the price/uncertainty for a gty just did not work for us, plus a 2+ week trip was not good for work this year given that we are committed to 2 weeks for Food & Wine in the fall already (pesky work! don't they know I have Disney trips to go on?). We are using miles to go to the Big Island for 8 nights. I know you will all have a FABULOUS time and look forward to seeing old friends on a later cruise and making new ones! I know this would have been a wonderful trip, but the stars just were not in alignment for us here. Here's hoping for a really great repo the next time around. I know you will all have an incredible time.

Cynthia & Jim

I hope you enjoy your new trip!

Jackie,

12 bottles in a case. I was originally planning to include the Banfi Rose Regale in the Champagne Girls tasting, but since there is a new RR Tasting, I will exclude it from the Champagne tasting and just ship bottles to those that want it for personal consumption on the cruise, and/or for the RR tasting. It is available onboard, but my guess is that even with shipping, it will be less expensive through us.

Karen

What is the smallest amount you can ship Karen?

Holly, you're still having a tough time with Tyler. He sure has been poorly.:grouphug:

I see you are going to zip line!!! That should be a great day out.

Oh and on a different note, has anyone used the H2O products that are on bored. I know the reviews are good but my hair is really thick and frizzy and I need a good conditioner. Should I bring my own?
If you want to try them out beforehand they have gift sets from time to time at Costco for pretty cheap.

So who is doing the PV city Tour? Thinking about that one.

Just been playing around with reservations, and noticed that Noel and John are now OFF our linked reservations. Looks like they are definitely not coming then.

Hi,
I don't know how it will be for you, but I got my machine the same day I got fitted for my mask. I don't know what kind of mask you are getting, but I got the nasal pillow that just rests up against your nose, and your face is not covered. I adjusted to it much easier than I expected. If your machine has a humidifier(and it prob. will), you can fill out the medical form on DCL site, and fax it to them letting them know you will need distilled water for your humidifier. They will have a gallon of distilled water on board for you, and all you have to do is call them when you get to your room, and they will bring it to you. Much easier than carrying it on board. Good luck...Vicki

This is good info to know. I left my C-pap at home for the TA crossing. Not sure I want to bring it along this time either as it is just the boys and I. If I do, I will bring the extension cord too. Just remember most c-pap cords are 3prong.

Hi

Yes, I remember your name and I went to Med Cruise on 18 to 28 July (10 days). I did spoked on your forum and it was great fun on your forum of 28July. What a laugh, never forget that Andrew wind it up on 1st April Some people believe it about Majorca :rotfl2: Anyway, it was awesome on Med Cruise, my mil &fil loved it very much.

Poor Gaylean can't book her excursions until the 75 day mark...by the way Gaylean, when is that?[/QUOTE

Feb. 25 is gonna be rough!

I am sure that you will be fine on Feb 25 as my friend Alison and Dave astheir first time well. I think it will be fine not like our last weekend. Less people go on first time? Well I think. :confused3 :cool1:

Yes, sad is it, as Noel is lovely and good chatting, oh well wonder why? I hope they are okay.

Marilyn - I got emailed from DCL and DU. They were very nice and asked me if want any help.

I get over now and feel much better now as Sunday was terrible morning is it!!

Hey Laura!

Yes, it's me. My sister didn't go to the Med. It's just me and my mom again. Can't wait to see you.

When do you get in? We're planning a group meet/meal at the Hyatt, so that would be a great chance for you to start meeting people. I'm organizing it and will probably start doing that in a couple of weeks (that's how long it will take to recover from last Saturday night). We may end up doing something very casual as opposed to try to arrange restaurant dining for a large group. If we go that route (grab stuff from the restaurants/food court and meet at the lounge area beside the Hyatt), everybody can just show up whenever and stay and visit however long they want. We will also have the DIS lanyards with us for distribution to people that night, so you can wear them to the port the next day! :thumbsup2

.

We're on a 7:30 PM flight out of Chicago, so we aren't scheduled to land until 11:30 PM.

What's going on for breakfast?

- Also we're on the 8:30 AM Harbor Tour and also the early Outdoor Adventure , the same as Monica (Mishoe01).

- I do have the access information for PJ's site---- By the way ... PJ after all IS the Mouse Manager Vice President of Imagination and Magic, and Monica is one of the roving reporters for Mouse Manager.

I've just been so quiet about the cruise because I figured I'd wait until after final payment, and all the dust settled, so it would be firm who was going.

We are REALLY looking forward to this. One thing bummed me out though, I was going to attend a conference in Orlando in May. I found out this week that the dates for the conference are May 5th to 9th. I'm not going to be able to go, because there's no way I can be out of work for 3 weeks straignt ... not that I personally would mind not going to work for 3 weeks, but I think the powers that be might be a tinsy bit bothered by it.

Good Morning Folks - just checking in - another day closer to cruising.

Spent some time yesterday trying to fill in the times on shore when we are not diving. Thanks for the page on planning and cruise tips. I am researching one port at a time for other events...This is fun, of course, the budget has not been consulted yet:lmao: so the list is quite long.

Just for grins, I clicked on the reservation page for Paolos - HIgh Tea is blacked out but it will me click brunch - then when I go to brunch - there is no reservations left....very strange.

I saw the note that you can no longer ship to the port - but - can you check a box? We can drive to the port and were thining oif checking a box and then leaving it with the trash - that works, yes? We have been sampling (don't gulp) boxed wines, to find some for casual dinners - a nice alterative to the high prices on board.....

What is the new RR Tasting I saw in a thread????

Is there a place for checking in on excursion threads? I was wondering who else will be on our zip line???

For what it is worth for those of you with non-Disney excursions, I have heard that some cruise ships are not very tight with arrival times. Disney however is right on traget (weather not withstanding) - So I am sure that the operators do not wish to hold a tour with no ship in sight.....On my planning I saw a page for the number of cruise ships in port on any given day. I believe for Aruba - the port I was reseaching last night - Disney was the only cruise - so I would hope the tours would not leave without us....If there are several in on one day - not as good odds.....

Here is a hint for you 75 day folk - PM a friend who is a CC member - ask them to brave the fishes to look at the excursions you wish to book. It should come up with a list of times still available - if not, you will have some time to plan an alterantive. Until your day comes up - you cannot even see the screen and it is intimidating - all tours on one page, not port by port.

Well guys, out of time to catch up on posts....thanks again.

Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone out there had a young one that wanted to be e-mail penpals with my DD5? We've done this the past couple of cruises and it added to her excitement to converse with someone and the n FINALLY getting to meet on the ship!

oh, also. are there any other New Englanders on board? And when will we get to take a peak at the list of DIS cruisers.
Last cruise I made a cheat sheet so I could remember who was who (I'm horrible that way!!!!!)
Thanks!

H2O Products.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these products. The shampoo is heavenly - just finished the last of the bottles I snagged on my last cruise. I have very thick hair, and it never felt better! Can't wait to get back on board and get some more.
