OMG>>>>>>

IT IS A SECRET PORTHOLE ROOM!

I'm so excited! I have a window....how awesome!
You're SOOOOO lucky! I'd say you're our first upgrade! At least I'd definitely call that an upgrade! :woohoo:

Deb - you mentioned a while ago that Noel had done a trip report....do you have the link on that? I couldn't find it.

Holly - how are you and Tyler this morning?

Linda-sorry to read about your purse. In addition the the stress of it all, I now how violating it feels to have your purse stolen. Sorry! :flower3:

we have no plans here either, since the zip line was full in the morning and no pirate boat. What do to what do to????

Perhaps a day onboard?:confused3 If the town was near I would go for a stroll but not to be.

Timing wise it would be the best day to stay onboard as it is Cabo the next day.

I thought I heard that Bob was on this cruise (Bob Varley) but I have heard nothing about a meet.

Bob is my TA and booked us on this sailing. When he booked us he said "See you onboard"...but, as you know, that was over a year ago!

Great pictures Ken.

This was our house almost EXACTLY a year ago - Valentine's day 2007, and I hear your snow is on the way . . .

Not very much snow this year, lots of rain. Maybe we got the global warming?

I guess I'll keep asking the question ... Anyone from the Chicago area on this cruise?

Afraid not. But we did get stuck in Chicago for 3 days in December 2006 and really loved the place. :thumbsup2

Nan - keep trying for that zip line!! 845a

Monica...I know Lisa and I are going to keep trying for that or the outdoor adventure at 845...either way I will be zipping through mexico some how!!!

Here is the email I sent this morning.

Mr. McAlpin,

I would like to bring to your attention the frustration shared by hundreds of Disney Cruise Line guests beginning at 12am EST February 10, 2008.
All returning guests that are booked on the 5/10/2008 Panama Canal Cruise received a letter stating that we could begin HASSLE FREE scheduling at the above time.

The experience we had was anything but hassle free! Your website will not handle that many people at one time. Some of us were on line for over 5 hours in the middle of the night trying to make reservations for Palo and excursions. The website would kick us out or we saw a Mickey Head that morphed into a school of swimming fish for hours! Those of us who managed to get to the page to select a time would then wait for the next step, all the time watching those fish! The site is set so that if you do not click on the confirm button within 20 minutes you loose that reservation. Unfortunately, the site took MORE than 20 minutes to get to the confirm page, thus many lost their selection, only to begin the process again. I gave up after 5 and ½ hours, with not one excursion or Palo reservation made. I slept 4 hours, got up and tried again. I still was not able to schedule, but a fellow passenger who has her reservation linked to ours was able to get our 2 excursions booked for us. By the time I was able to get to the point of selecting Palo reservations, none were available. This was 11 and a half hours after the debacle first began. I did call DCL customer service and of course they were most gracious and understanding, but could not make any changes to the system. Thus, I am writing to you. I believe at your level changes can be made.

There is a moment by moment expression of frustration by many of your most loyal customers at WWW.Disboards.com on the May 10, 2008 cruise thread, Part 3. If you have any interest in our intense frustration and a review of this very Tragic Moment, perhaps a staff member could review the last 60 pages of that thread.

I would like to include that Disney Cruise Line does MANY things very right, thus my husband and I are making our 10th voyage with you. However, we were so upset with this process that we have determined that a meal at Palo is not something we will do again. There is no eating establishment that I know of that is worth that kind of frustration. The excursions that we will plan in the future are those that accept a lot of people and thus do not fill up quickly. I cannot repeat last Saturday night.

I am not prone to writing letters of complaint without some constructive suggestions for improvement. I have two of those. 1) Allow passengers to book these reservations when their cruise is paid in full, as other lines do. This would put the dollars in your hands sooner and relieve the congestion on your website during the booking “moment” for cruises that have many loyal returning guests or 2) upgrade your website to meet the demands you put on it.

I thank you for your effort in making DCL an excellent experience for us.

I then added our names, address and phone number. We will see if I get a response.

That is a beautiful picture of a beautiful house John!!

The closest pic I have to last year at this time is from Jan 9, 2007. I set my camera up to take periodic pics while I was shoveling the driveway. So here is one where I am near the camera and the plow is coming to open the end of my driveway. (here after the snowplow comes by and completely blocks the end of your driveway, the city sends out the plow you see behind me and they try their best to clear what the first plow has blocked you in with)

FISH ARE STILL TOO FRESH IN MY MEMORY and my computer may crash. :surfweb:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Did anyone else get the 18th for tea? 17th for brunch?

I haven't been able to get anything but dinner.

I'm still gty, too.

Me too.

Take a cab to town. It's easy and then you can see the old church and the sand sculptures.

Marilyn,

Angie, Dennis and I are doing the Town Tour and Diver in ACA, that is a 4-4.5 tour as well.
