don't know if anyone answered yet but just log off and try again ...it is really slow...it helps if you don't press refresh and just wait...my fish are still swimming this morning and I cant retrieve my ressies yet....that happened to everyone....welcome back ragdoll to the thread my computer challenged sidekick

Thanks for the reply. (thanks to Making Memories, too) Not only am I computer challenged but so is my computer. I have not been able to retrieve my ressies from DCL since we upgraded from dial up to dsl. DD's dbf is supposed to work on my computer when he has time. Who knows when that will be. DD tried booking for me last night. I will just forget about it. I only wanted to book one excursion, nothing else so I guess it is not a really big deal.

I think they were all snatched up last night...maybe there were not that many to begin with....those with concierge said alot booked up when they tried too on their mark so maybe they came back and took some of ours they said those book fast so I tried that first with no luck and therefore spent all my time on that and got no excursions .

WOW...I really thought since it was a 15 day cruise there would be plenty for everyone, especially when they won't let multiple room families book more than once, like when I was caught!! ....countdown to the 75 day mark!

when you posted that I had to look at mine too and they wrote DIS veteran under my name too I never realized that it happened ...made me look. Maybe its if you get to a certain # of post and if you don't have your own tags or TF tags I don't know don't feel like a veteran so I have no idea...just a thought.

Hi - I haven't posted on this thread for an absolute age - sorry!

Here was me all excited that I might finally get a stateroom number now that the 90 day mark has arrived, only to see that there are hardly any excursions left! Hope they've held some over for us first time cruisers. I'm all paid - have been for a long time - so I'll be on here at midnight at the 75 day point to try to book some things.

Hope the DCL website gets itself sorted out soon so that everyone can get what they want organised.

Apparently DCL release some more reservations at the 75 day mark so don't give up just yet.

Anyone else have this problem? (Didn't check the other thread so I appologize in advance if it is on there.)


DCL website said that I was not paid in full. I paid in full with DU two weeks ago! I just don't want DCL to let my ressie go tonight. Don't know if DCL will help me but I will try to call when they open. If they won't help I will have to email DU and hold my breath until I get a reply.

That happened to me last cruise and I freaked out. Managed to get on later though. This time some folk said to lof out and back in and it did work.

I had go to bed at around 3:30. I got up and stilll no Sea Lions, I don't think the opened any. I got the rest of my excursions and dinner at Palo. Guess I will book through the company for the Sea Lions. I hope everyone else got what they wanted.

Did anyone get a confirmation on the pirate ship in PV? I tried and said was full and then I went to their website and it says the boat is in drydock April 15th to May 31st?

Maybe Disney has never fixed this problem because they do it on purpose. To make us feel as if we belong to some great elite club and by getting a ressie booked we are special. Makes it easier to justify the cost to say well sooooo many people wanted to do it we should feel lucky to have gotten a chance to. I really do think they torment us on purpose. They have enough cash flow to fix this. No good reason why it is this D**n slow

Unfortunately, much as I like Disney, I think the bottom line is they really don't care about their customers enough, and they very much take us for granted. They've got our money for this cruise. So why should they care how difficult it is for us to make these reservations? They know Palo will be full for all meals, regardless. If someone can't get a particular excursion, chances are they'll just book a different one, and Disney will still make their cut.

And they know we're highly unlikely to cancel the cruise because of these difficulties.

Look at the 'extra tax' situation. It didn't matter how many of us contacted them (although remember, according to them, each of us was the only one complaining ), they simply didn't care because they knew we would pay. It was only when they started to get adverse publicity in the real world that they did anything about it.

Now that is not encouraging......I think there would be an incentive to pay off the cruise early if you could book everything when you were paid off.....

If only they did that, I could've booked all I wanted in July last year and stayed in bed this morning.

i just got off the phone with a DCL CM and they said there was nothing they could do, no one that could help us, the system has been doing this for a while, BLAH< BLAH< BLAH!!

well i for one and writing all the DCL execs about this! i am not a happy camper! we have spent so much $$$ for this cruise for this system to keep crashing like this! they should just have a special phone line to call in so they can do this!

another glitch i have found is that the teen activities cannot be booked because i get an error message that says at least one adult must be present (which is not true) and i cannot pick someone anyway because all names are greyed out except for my teenager! i had no probs booking them on the EB TA cruise last may!

so i now have no excursions for 2 of my ports.....don't know what we will do now!
