Well good morning everyone.

That was quite the evening wasn't it?

Started here at 9pm and finished up at around 2:30am. But I did manage to get all the excursions I wanted and the brunch and even added one Palo's dinner to the list. Mainly thx to Granmaz, who gave us the heads up just after I was ready to quit. It seemed to get much better for me just after 2am when I went on a flurry of bookings.

So here's the damage for us:

Aruba:
Sea & See Island Tour @ 12:15-4:45pm

Acapulco:
Hilights, Shop & Divers @ noon-5pm

Puerto Vallarta:
Las Caletas Hideaway @ 8:45am-3:45pm

Cabo San Lucas:
Land's End Coastal Cruise @ 9:30am-11am

Palo's Brunch:
May 18th @ 11am-1pm (to celebrate our 10th anniversary - which is actually April 18 but close enough)

Palo's Dinner:
May 15th @ 8pm - 10pm

Also got the kids registered into the kids clubs. Now I get to go through all this again when my aunt gets to book her excursions 75 days out ....

It seems we are doing Acapulca and Puerta Vallarta with you guys!

Luckily when we discovered that, we were just lazing around in the stateroom reading. Suddenly 2 chaps in yellow overalls appear on the other side of the verandah in the cradle-thingy they use, travelling along the side of the ship! They just smiled, waved and said hello!

We did think that they must see some interesting/scary sights.

By the way (and I stress I mean no disrespect with this, in fact it's more admiration) but because of the deck workers being all dressed the same and constantly around the ship working, we refer to them as the Oompahloompahs.

I love it - the oompahloompahs! You know I'm going to hear that song now everytime I see one of them.

Hi Lisa - SO SORRY you had to cancel with that "other" group but I took your advice about posting here. Am trying to make a niche for myself but I seem to be flaking off on myself! I hope to become more involved here if you all will let me????

Sorry - my humor is kinda weird remember. Anyway, I'm finally excited. DH and I will be travellling alone although DD-20 may make a last minute appearance depends on whether she can take her finals a couple days early. Anyway, Not too worried about any excursions as DH and I found we like going on our own. No worries on the West Coast part as I speak the language. Am a bit worried about Aruba so right now I am booked on DCL buy may cancel that if I get to do some research. Lots going on at home and until last week wasn't sure if I was going to go 100%. But final payment was made and seems I will be on here God Willing.

Anyone want to be friends with a weird but funny kind of gal? You've been forewarned!

OH we have PLENTY of weird but funny gals in this group..you'll fit right in!

DH was just wondering if we were still doing this. I told him that once today was over you would work on it.

The report I read the couple were in a villa in port and took a while to realise they could be seen by folk on dry land!!!

My reservations for Palo's end in 321. Not sure where they got these numbers but I am not going to worry. I have the confirmation numbers, etc. and if I have to will check them on board.

I think this may have gotten lost this morning but if anyone has an extra seat for High Tea please think of me. I have never done this and would really like to try it but 1) I couldn't get a ressie and 2) DH doesn't really want to do it.

Got the Sea Lion encounter booked on my own. 11AM, so I will be looking to share transport over the the park. I know I'll stay there for some lunch and would probably want to head back by 2:30...though I haven't done any research yet on transportation and how far we are from the ship, so that's kind of up in the air.

DH and I were on our Honeymoon. We were in our hotel room on the 6th floor. Our drapes were open, we overlooked a golf course, we thought we were safe.

It was early morning and we were (ahem) busy. I happened to look over and someone was washing our windows. My DH got up to close the drapes and realised it was a guy we went to high school with. He opened the window and they had a nice chat. I stayed in bed and waved as I wasn't prepared to greet him formally.

I agree a list would be good. DH and I have never done an excursion on our own. I am nervous but know there will be other disers makes it better.

Sounds like a good idea. Jill, there are just the two of you right? We could probably coordinate getting over there, folks may want to return at different times (I think it would be hard to drag some of us away from those water slides!) I know I'll be a little nervous about getting back to the ship in time (worry-wart).

Anyone want to volunteer to keep the list (I've got two of those projects going already).

Okay, so I don't have the heart to go back and read every post since last Friday afternoon, so if I've missed something just let me know.

Friday night my purse that had my wallet, my planner, and basically my whole organized life was stolen from me. So I have spent the last two days cancelling everything and changing every password on the internet and anything I can possible think of. By the time I cancelled my business credit card, the thieves had charged $60 to Pizza Hut and $46 to Dominoes. Guess they wanted a pizza party at 1 a.m. in the morning. Then they tried to use it to put gas in their vehicle, but they didn't know my company's pin number so it was declined.

I think by the time they tried to use all my other cards (probably immediately after that) I had already been on the phone with all my credit card companies, cancelling everything.

Went to bed at 3:30 a.m. or so and then got up at 6 a.m. and started back up on the internet again. Went to bank at 9 a.m. and had to close my accounts and open new ones and all that fun stuff.

Then had to go to my office and have my property manager let me in so I could get to my desk. She had to change all the alarm codes and pass codes into the building just to be safe. And of course, my office keys were in my purse, so they were long gone too.

Then spent the next couple of hours cancelling our company's Sam's and Costco accounts, so now I get to tell all the staff tomorrow that they get to go get new cards issued.

Then I spent more time on the internet.

I keep thinking of more things as I have time.

I lost my WDW passes and have been working with Guest Services to get those, but now I have to go back through a bunch of my paperwork to find some stuff.

So, the last thing I did today was go onto Disney Cruise Line because I need to change my email address for the 2/28 cruise. But then, I didn't have the number so I called DCL and she gave it to me and gave me the 5/10 cruise too. About that time, I remembered that last night at midnight was when I could start booking everything.

So, got off the phone with DCL and immediately went into the 5/10 cruise and everything I was suppose to book was gone. (including Palo's). That was when I had a meltdown and broke down and started crying. Looked at the spa and the first thing I saw was "Alone time" and debated about booking that! But I didn't...........so I ended up not booking anything, and will just keep watching and make a note in my planner (the new one I haven't bought yet) for the 75 day mark when something might open up again.

After my meltdown, I decided it was time to get off the computer, so I cleaned my living room and vaccuumed, and went downstairs to the craft room for a few minutes.

Now, I decided to get on the disboards and share my news. All I can say is my life has been turned upside down. I am making a list with everything I can think of and as I change everything I am putting it on an excel spreadsheet and it is getting locked up in our safe. that way I'll have one list with everything in one place.

The good news....I haven't been able to spend any money all weekend (not that I have had time) because all my credit cards and cash are gone! I had two gift cards in my wallet and I was able to dig up the receipts and go back and get them cancelled and reissued. The last thing I wanted was those thieves getting another $125 out of me!

The bad news....I had just bought some ribbon at Joann's Friday night earlier in the evening and they stole my ribbon! It was for the scrapbook pages. Really made me mad.

The good news.....I had just taken my camera and cell phone out of my bag and set them down in the car and when they grabbed my purse out of the car (and I was only about 30 feet away), they didn't get my expensive camera or purse.

The bad news....tomorrow I get to spend my time at the driver's license office getting a new drivers license.

Okay, that's my news for now. Things can only get better from him. I only had about $45 cash in my purse (thank goodness). Sometimes, I stash some extra money in hidden places, but luckily I had it in my bedroom and not in my wallet!

Oh-they have all my insurance cards, my DVC card, my Castaway Club Card, Disney Dining card, etc., etc.

Besides that.....life is PEACHY KEEN!

Okay, starting tomorrow I'll try to check in each day!

I'm hoping we can try again at 75 days for more DISers (1st timers and CC) and again on boarding, as quite a few of us didn't get any tea booked. Also, I think folks booked for spouses but were 'replacing' them with ladies. We'll see how things shake down and can mabe even do our own 'DIS waitlist' if people change there minds once on the ship.

My flight gets in at 5:15. I have no objection to you two meeting me in the terminal with banners, flags and dancing boys!

Monica mentioned that an option for dinner might be for folks to grab something from any of the terminal restaurants/food court and meet in the area that is just to the left of the Hyatt check in. I can't picture this area (it's Hyatt territory, not food court area I believe). If that space would work, it sounds like a good idea, as people could come and go all evening...some could drift off to an adult beverage later on if they chose.
