What is See's Chocolate? It sounds great, especially the caramel.

Only the best chocolate in the world (in my opinion). They're sold in stand alone stores in malls and the like. Many airports now have kiosks that sell the pre-boxed chocolates. It's my weakness!

Hi guys . . .

It has been a busy couple of days, and I have not had time to even stop by to read. Therefore I am 50 pages behind as I get on here tonight.

Amy is right now flying somewhere over the Pacific on her way to Tokyo, and then on to the Philippines. She arrives at 11:00 am our time, 11:00 pm their time.

I took her to the airport today thinking I would take the day off - no go. Way too behind at the office. I am trying to take next week off, but we will see how that goes.

I wasted a lot of time yesterday because they got me a new phone - a Blackberry, so I was busy converting from my Treo on top of everything else. Now I have email and the web on my phone, but this Blackberry is darn tough to type on! (Pearl). The web is nowhere near as good as on the iPhones I have seen. I tried getting on the DIS with it, and it is almost illegible.

I will do my best to just read and not make stale comments.

The Blackberry my company gave me last week was the WORLD. I am getting pretty used to it and can DIS pretty good on it. Keep trying.

Isn't it amazing how different candies are in other countries? I used to go to Canada all the time to get the coffee crunch?(can'teven remember the name) and when I lived in England there was another one I was addicted to. Scott loves the wine gummies that they sell in Canada, I wonder if they are similar.

My thing is Kit Kats. I really really like Kit Kats. Over here we have plain and boring ones. We do get the cherry ones during the holidays and they did coffee as a limited one but everywhere else has tons of flavors. I love Banana and the green tea flavors, melon is another I like I have to order them from online and sometimes I look on eBay to see them.

We've never done this before but I see threads on the main board about it all the time.

Lisa - I'm thinking about doing this since it's such a long cruise, and we should get to know each other pretty well over that time

I've heard that calling cards, books (but we have that covered), maybe DVDs? If anyone can give me ideas I'd gladly take them.

I'm thinking of DVD's and some candy along with my tips... I'm doing the servers as well... anyone else I should remember? I don't have kids so I don't have to worry about the kids clubs...

What is intriguing is the ability to upgrade the hotel room. We've stayed at CBR and ASMusic. We had originally chosen AS Movies this time because a) it was cheaper, b) we really wanted the Disney theming and c) to see if it was all that unbearable for future plans.

And doing a short stay to see how it is sounds like a good idea. You can get opinions as to whether the AS Movies is a good place to stay, but trying it yourself on a short stay makes sense to me.

Just in case you are taking notes: my favorites are Summertime and Bordeaux (milk chocolate, of course)

I am partial to the dark truffles, and the California Brittle, and the Rum Nougat and.......all of it except the ginger and marzipan (ptuee!!)

Congratulations on your daughters. Where in China are they from? My sister has two daughters from China (Fuling and Lianping - near Chongqing). I was able to go on both trips with her. It was such an adventure but they are such a joy.

Thanks! Our daughters are from Jiangxi and Guizhou provinces. How wonderful that you were able to go with your sister. On both our trips to China, my husband's sister traveled with us as we took our other children along both times. She was great for practical help and moral support!

So many people have thought we were nuts for taking our children with us, but just like this cruise, how could we pass up the opportunity to give them that experience? They are all great travelers and great kids too!

As I was skimming through tonight I noticed some posts about whether the CC numbers were in the system. Do they show anywhere besides in your profile? Does DCL just know you are CC or do you have to do something special to make sure you can book tomorrow night? I am getting worried now!

Thanks - I can't catch up. Busy at work, and trying to wrap things up to fly out for the service.

DH and I had a long "discussion" and I usually win discussions (isn't that how it is suppose to work??) but this one sadly I didn't. He feels now strongly that leaving and spending the money for the cruise is not a good for us as a family. I totally am bummed, and am trying to deal with it. I will manage the fish teams as that will be so much fun, and I hope to see many pictures. But I am calling Disney to cancel. I will miss meeting you all, although I'm certain many of us will meet on future cruises. I will still stay on the boards if you all don't mind and live my vacation through you guys!!! And you all be sure to have a DOD for me on May 16, the Panama Canal day!!

Oh Lisa, I'm so sorry. I understand your husband's point, but know how badly you hoped he'd decide to say yes to the cruise. We'll all miss not being able to meet you and your wonderful family. But I'm glad you'll still be posting here with us.
