My goodness!! What a crazy DIS "family" we have!! I finally caught up on everyone's message (jeesh, teach me to take a day off!!). My heart goes out to so many of you dealing with personal sadness/frustration, friend's/family's situations and ... wow just so much going on!!

I am home with David today ... think he's got the flu!!

He is trying to rest up 'cuz he has a hockey game to play tomorrow, that he really does not want to miss!!

I'm going to visit the "other" threads for a few minutes ... I will be back!!

I know you want to wear your new dresses, but remember - there is still time, but in our eyes even if you don't lose anything else YOU'll LOOK MARVOULOUS (said in that fun voice that Billy Crystal used to use in SNL)

Thanks Monica, I'm really going to get aggressive now......cutting back more calories and adding more exercises. I'm going to get more weight off and into those dresses, I don't care what it takes. I will win! Can you tell that with all my DIS family encouragement, I've become very determined now. Thanks for your great inspiration.

ok, I hate my hair. I don't know what I was thinking, I had it layered and she cut off a lot. It was all one length and almost to my waist...it is now barely below my shoulders. My hair takes a long time to grow..... I am going to go back and cry now.

V....I'm sure it looks fine.....it's just different and you have to get used to it. You will like it more once you live with it for a few days. It's ok really it is. I can't wait to see a picture of you with your new do. Feel good, don't be bummed.

Have a good night sleep on it and hopefully you'll feel better in the morning.

Today is so blah here....the weather here this winter had been HORRIBLE (do you agree Angie and Dennis?) We haven't seen the sun in weeks, every day it is windy with rain, freezing rain and snow. They can't keep the passes open due to all the snow falling there. The ski resorts are having to close due to avalanches, the lists go on. So...I'm moving to Florida!!!! Ok, not really but it is my current dream .

I tried to explain the PIF club to my mom... she's getting it... I have to teach her all the other Dis names, sayings etc. before we leave for this trip!!!

Just teach her "Where's the rum?"

I want to change my DIS name to Seven of Lime.

I wish we could change names without re-registering and losing our post count. My DIS name is just what I came up with at the time, no real thought put into it.

Why don't you just add it in your signature? Like right after your RAF logo?
