It has taken me ALL day, but I am FINALLY caught up!! I would feel like I was getting close to the end, then work would go wacko. I'd come back and many pages were added.

V - don't worry about your hair - I'm sure you look beautiful, and it will look better once you do it yourself (I know I always need to go straight home and get the brush in my own hand to try to get things the way I want them). You just need to get used to it.

Do you think a place like Walmart or CVS would carry this?

Not sure about Walmart, but CVS carries it as well as Walgreen's.

I'll stand out front and way as your plane passes over head.

We live by one of those things that tells the pilot were to line up. This is so sad, my DH was a pilot in the Marines you'ld think I would know what they are called.


Any way, whenever we fly out of BWI we fly by our neighborhood.

It's hard to believe that little peanut is going to be 1. Seems like such a short time ago she was causing all sorts of trouble.

A friend of mine is losing her battle with cancer. She has been in NIH studies (one of the benefits to living here is DC) and was told 4 years ago she had 3-6 months to live. The treatment she has been having has just now started to fail and they have found cancer in her brian, liver and several other spots.

She wrote this long e-mail to explain what she has been though in the last 4 weeks and this one paragraph just killed me and I started to cry. I wanted to share it with you.

When I asked them for a long-term prognosis, I was given the 3-6 month speech. Although we kind of expected that, it is always a blow to hear it, as you can well imagine! Although I am so very confident about where I am going after death, going thru the process will be difficult and saying good bye the hardest thing I can think of. I have asked God to keep me strong and focused on Him and so many of you are helping me do just that. Thank you so much for your calls, cards and emails.

She sounds like a wonderful person. No wonder you lover her so much.

ok, I hate my hair. I don't know what I was thinking, I had it layered and she cut off a lot. It was all one length and almost to my waist...it is now barely below my shoulders. My hair takes a long time to grow..... I am going to go back and cry now.
