Woohoo Michelle, paid in full and flights bought!!

I hope no-one minds me posting this, but it's an e-mail that my DB has sent to our other DB, DSis and myself. I've used the *** for privacy.

Could you please send him and his DW, DS27 and DS13 prayers or pixie dust. I cannot begin to imagine how they are coping.

So sorry to read your post Mary. How very sad. Will pray. Hugs to all.

My trip to Fl is back on. Friend called and said that she had canceled the trip to the Keys. So I'll be heading to the airport in the morning.

Enjoy your trip Gydell.

  Welcome to the PIF club Michelle:cool1: :cool1:

I tried to explain the PIF club to my mom... she's getting it... I have to teach her all the other Dis names, sayings etc. before we leave for this trip!!!

That is the actual cruise I was thinking about doing. For one my birthday is the 28th and two it is close to the end of vacation for the kids so a last hurrah sorta thing. I am thinking about it and might book this weekend.

JOIN US! It will be fun!

I've been on here so much today, I'll bet you all don't believe me that I'm actually at work! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OMG just realized I have no return flight LOL
What time would you say it is safe to make them for? 10 am? 11am? noon? I have no idea!

Depends where you are planning on flying out of.....We flew out of LAX last time and our flight was at 1:30 p.m. By the time we got our luggage and waited in line for a taxi to get us (because there were crazy long lines), we didn't leave the port until 10:30 a.m. We got to LAX around 11:10 a.m.

Don't know if they will be better organized this time or not. It was not a problem getting off the ship, the problem was getting the luggage. Alot of people waited almost an hour and a half to get their luggage and get out of there!

If you can fly out of Long Beach (LGB) or Orange County (SNA), it is much easier and faster than going into LAX. My opinion.

Deb, don't get too discouraged. I'm not a good one to talk on this (as I've fallen back into my box of Sees candies) but keep up the good work and you will find the way back to lost again

Nan, thanks to your encouragement and everyone else's, I'm going to stick with it and hope that it will start up again soon.

Are most people buying the Cafepress designs? We aren't into wearing logo clothing really but would buy and wear for a particular occasion/group event etc. Are we planning on wearing them at the terminal, or wearing lime green(if we want to that is)?

DH very rarely wears any logo clothing, and especially not anything with a full shirt logo, if you see what I mean. Which was why I was surprised when he said he wanted one of the t-shirts.

Although whether he ever wears it in public remains to be seen.

I'm going out of LAX - best ones for me to get flights to Albany without stopping 6 times along the way... & since I had credit @ Southwest... my flights to MCO and From LAX only cost me $377 for both of us... sweet!!!

I'm working here too... but most of my work is done on line and at home - I like working in my jammies... the commute isn't too bad either...

Good Morning Mary, Marilyn and Holly.

Holly, good luck on the job news today. Sending you lots of positive pixie dust that you get the offer.

I have no plans for today. Just a little cleaning around the house. I'm not sure if I can do exercises while the legs are wrapped. I'm afraid the ace bandages will come off if I stretch and push too much. They're wound really tight. I guess I could try and see what happens.

(A very belated) good morning Deb! :)

Take care of those legs.

I agree with you Linda, It would be better to fly out of lgb or sna but if you have to do LAX. Flyboy and I both say do a flight after 2pm. That way you are not rushing and stressing out. Also Southwest at LAX on sundays always have long lines to check in and go through security just keep that in mind too.
