I am wondeirng what the weather is typically like? Will we need a light sweater for evenings? Shorts weather I am hoping for.
Do I need any pants or jackets? Trying to do some planning to do laundry and then pack.

We've been to WDW anywhere from the end of April into the middle of May. We have NEVER needed a jacket during this time!!!

We went last year April 30- May 8. I packed light jackets and didn't need them once. I figured if it was chilly at all (it wasn't) we would just buy sweatshirts down there. Every day we had on shorts. My kids wore tank tops. It was great swimming weather too.

Thank you we were debating the same thing we have gone in feb. and aug. in the past first may trip in 18 days. May1-6.

We were there the second week of May last year and the weather was beautiful! No jackets were needed. We did wear the usual tank tops and shorts and it didn't rain once while we were there. The weather was so great, w eplan to go back May 2006.

That time of year is perfect!! Little rain and mid 80's. Jackets are rarely if ever needed at night.

We will be from May 15 - 29.

Ok, during the day it will be hot and will just wear tank tops and shorts, but what about the nights? (Wishes, Fantasmic,...) Do we have to take pants, sweatshirts and socks with us and put it into a locker during the day?!

In Florida or anywhere else in the South for that matter you do not need to worry about pants or sweatshirts anytime after March. We do have the occasional cool front in late March and early April but you are looking at 80 to 90 degrees during the day and after the sun goes down it will cool down a bit and be in the upper 70s.

wow, thanks for asking this. We are arriving May 5th and I thought for sure we'd need capris or pants at night. hmmm.... need to plan my wardrobe!!!
