I haven't used photopass before, but used Maxpass on our trip at the end of May- I was just thinking I should do something with the photos and was trying to find them but can't- I think they used to just "be there" (very technical I know) so I'm thinking there was a time limit on Max Pass photos being available- if I call, any chance they still have them?

I found the expiration policy here: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/photopass-expiration-policy/

It looks like you have 45 days to retrieve them, or if you purchased an extension, 60 days. If you have an annual pass, then you have 365 days to get them. You might be just outside of the retrieval period, so calling now might be a good option, but don't get your hopes up. Sometimes when they dump them from the server, they are gone. Other times, they may be able to restore them for you. Good luck!

Call them as soon as possible. There is a chance you might be able to get them. They are typically very helpful. I think they probably can retrieve them, but the question is whether they will since you are outside of the expiration date. It may depend on who happens to pick up the phone but they may charge you for an extension and put them back for you, even if you are technically out of time for the extension. We had a time back when they sent you the CD/DVD of the photos that I did not put it in right away when we got it and then later found out that it did not work. My photos were gone from the website, but they were able to retrieve all of them and they put them back on the website for some time, and also sent me new discs. Since you already paid for them with max pass, they may be willing to spread a little pixie dust for you.

They probably still have them. When we activated our 13-month APs and added MaxPass, all my PP photos that I had loaded into my account from the previous 13 months appeared in my account and were eligible for download. So, they definitely hold onto those photos much longer than they would lead you to believe.

Photos linked to an AP are stored differently (whether the AP has Photopass included or not).

When we moved up to Signature and got Photopass privileges in 2016, I realized that anything I’d linked to my pass for the last year showed up, but a lot of times I hadn’t bothered to use my pass and had just taken the Photopass card I’d been given (since I hadn’t gotten the photos anyway, there hadn’t been a point). I called and they retrieved a few recent trips, but the older ones were no longer stored.

I had used a regular PP card. I never used my AP for my PP photos until pretty recently. I did link them to my Disneyland account in the app, so maybe that was the difference.

My AP expired more than a year ago, but I STILL have pix from our visits last June (on the AP - the last ones expire today, actually) and December (when I did not have an AP) in my account.
