Max is home from surgery

Just got Max home from surgery. Everything went well - he's a little groggy and I can tell he's in a significant amount of pain. They had to do a pretty extreme procedure on the fractured tooth. He's definately not himself right now and it's just breaking my heart. I know it's going to take a few days for him to start feeling better, so right now it's just about making him comfortable and giving him lots of love and attention.

Glad Max is home and recovering!!! Dogs are resilient and he will be back to his normal self in no time. (I've been through half a dozen surgeries with my first beloved dog - so I know of what I speak of.)

I found that animals are pretty quick to heal after surgery. You should baby the hell out of Max though. Prop him up on the couch, let him watch Animal Planet and feed him Alpo milkshakes.
