Yes, both are on the list of possibles that can appear.

Goofy is quite easy to find in many places. Characterpalooza is one of the few places where you might (operative word) find Max. He's a fairly tough find.

Both appear randomly together at Epcot as well. The DHS sets happen daily so your chances are better there... but depending on when your trip is you may want to keep your eyes on the lookout at Epcot too!

So jealous! I grew up on a goofy movie. Like watched 2 times before I went to bed EVERY NIGHT. oh how i annoyed my mom lol I'd die if I saw Max! So fingers crossed lol

Only place we have ever seen Max is at Disneyland

We saw max at Typhoon Lagoon. We happened to be at the right place when he came out briefly for photos. When we asked if there was a schedule for him, they said it is random. It made my DS the happiest kid. He is a big Goofy fan, so this was the icing on the cake.

This is an event that happens in Hollywood Studios. Takes place on Avenue of the Americas which is the backlot street that looks like a city (New York and San Fransisco I think). At one end of the street is the Lights, Motors, Action show and that is the general area the charcacters come out of. It happens at different times based on park hours but right now 4:40 and possibly again at 5:20 although I only caught the first one. Literally over 10 characters pop out at once. They mingle, hug, take pics. Some did autographs but they definitely did not want a line forming so it was kinda discouraged. It was more hopping from guest to guest for a quick hello. They hang for 10 min or so and skip back down the street where they came from.

We were ready and waiting with camera in hand last Friday. Hubby thought we were wasting time just sitting there. Kids started to complain....and then..... Out walks Belle, Pochahontas, Max, Chip, Dale, Mary Poppins, penguin, Genie, green army men, Gepeto, Pinnocchio, Annie from Little Einsteins, and Queen of Hearts! It was awesome. Pochahontas wasmespecially cool for my teen daughter and her BFF who was with us since that was one of their faves.
