One year ago, I received a letter from MAW saying they were coming to ask for Kaleb's wish...it was dated on my birthday! What a great gift.... a wish, and then a new kidney for Kaleb and now the upcoming fulfillment of that wish... God is Good....

Wendy I've been meaning to ask you... it is your dog that is named Zoey? Did you know that Zoe (and its spelling variants) means Life? I chose that name for my daughter because of it's meaning... her full name is Zoe Jubilee....of course a Jubilee is a celebration... so she is my life's celebration!
I bet your Zoey is full of life too....
I think naming Kaleb was appropriate too ... his name means tenacious and with this disease that tenaciousness has paid off...and I hope will continue to later in life when he faces another transplant. Oh and I guess I can't leave Nathan out of it...that means gift of God.... now that I'm rambling I hope you all have a great day...we have freezing rain out here today! So it is easy to ramble!

Monkeys middle name is Nathan, and he truly was a gift. He was born almost 2 months premature, and had a fight from the start. And now look at him. A strong, independant, amazing 3.5 year old!

Yes! My Zoey is my puppyfuzz -lol and full of life. A few weeks ago she hurt herself and I was so scared because we didnt realize and she was just very slow moving, couldnt jump etc. She is 13 years old (at least -we arent sure, we got her from a shelter). But, she is doing well again after a course of baby aspirin and chondroitin!!!

That is so cool when your kids names match their personalitles!!

Great pictures! Lucky for us, we've only had 1 big ice storm this year. We've just had a ton of snow.

Thanks... I do watermark or put my logo on them..a habit I have from doing portraits......just a way of protecting my photos. I think it looks nice too....
