....and LOTS of them! I didn't get to take hardly ANY pics at the send off party...I was so busy listening to them explain the paperwork and such that I was too engulfed. My hubby took 2 pics with us there though thank goodness! At least I have something... We were so stressed too...our appt was at 3pm and we finally left our house at 2:38pm! Around here, the tunnels back up terribly at about that time and of course the one closest to our house was terrible! So I had to detour to the other tunnel and go all through a downtown section that took F.O.R.E.V.E.R! At least we thought it did...we finally hop on the interstate and get on our way...we miraculously arrived at 3:04pm---thanks to MY driving skills. Our Wish ladies were there waiting on us and had some yummy cupcakes and root beer (Khelsey's FAV). The girls all did pretty good enjoying the cupcakes and I listened to Rachel explain our "Bible" for the trip. The tiara's you see were gifts from MAW to the girls...Khelsey and Karis had Tinkerbell and Kaylie took the Cinderella one (go figure)! We finished up with the party and had some good laughs with the girls then we were on our way! It was soooo nice! Ok, here's the 2 pics Travis got on his phone...

Now...the BIG GIVE pics!!! Boy, do we have a lot to show! I think she received 4 Big Give gifts since the last time I posted!

Karis opened this Big Give...this one was from Jessica (jessica52877)! Sooooo cute!! American Girl outfits for the girls to change their 'girls' in to!!! OMGosh these are adorable! AND the skirts are reversible! How cute!

This Give is from Jennifer (Scouthawkk)! Absolutely AWESOME Seaworld outfits for the girls to match in!!! (I just realized that we didn't get a pic of them trying them on yet...) They opened these when we were about to leave for the Send Off Party! Thank you sooooo much for the time you took to make my girls look Spectacular!!!!

Thank you Soooooo much Jennifer!! You REALLY outdid yourself!! I will get a pic of all 3 in their outfits ASAP...

I helped Khelsey open this Gift....This one was from Mary! I didn't see a Dis name on here...but THANK YOU soooooooo MUCH!!! We needed a bad for the wheelchair and it's AWESOME! I love how you embroidered her name on it too.... Absolutely PERFECT!

And last but NOT least!!! This Gift was from Carol Witt (again, I didnt' see a Dis name on it...I'm sorry)
Carol, this was soooo great! The girls really needed something to keep them occupied on the plane and this really is PERFECT!!!! The LOVE it!!!

Shew!!!!!!!! LOTS of gifts and Pics I had to post there!!! LOL...You all are SUCH wonderful people for all you do for the Wish Kids...I want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts...

Love all the new Big Gives and that the American Girl dolls have been included in the Big Give too. That's too cute with the skirts for the dolls.

OMGoodness...the pillow cases and blankets are sooooo cute!! Karis wants to sleep with her's Every day!! Thank you so much...and it's awesome that so many things we are getting is embroidered w/ their names...we have to have everything personalized since their names are spelled so differently.

Yes Wendy...we are getting SOOOOO close!! I'm so excited but need it to slow down just a bit too. Have not even THOUGHT of packing yet...I have a HUGE Practical in A&P II the Monday before we leave and a huge math test on that Tuesday...I am sooooo stressed. LOL. I will be A-OK though...I'm a great fast packer rarely forget anything important. Thankfully there is a Walmart right up the road from GKTW so I can run there if needed.

Khelsey LOVES to lay over on the couch after school...she's usually drained and today was a very warm day (mid 70's!!!) so she probably felt the need for a little rest.

It just so happens that Khelsey lives in a neighboring city, so I was able to deliver my Big Give gifts in person today! Thank you to Shelby, Khelsey, Kaylie and Karis for welcoming me and my daughter into your home (Travis was working today).

First of all, Khelsey is as sweet as can be. She is so laid back and seems very content. She is a bit camera shy -- I missed several smiles and glances by seconds!

Shelby is as kind as they come. Khelsey couldn't have a better Mother. And Kaylie and Karis played with Alexa the whole time we were there like they had known each other forever.

I have some pictures to share -- some are things I brought and two packages arrived while I was there but I took pics as well so we could finally have some pics with Shelby included. So get ready for picture overload. (I will also post detailed pics of what I gave the girls on the Disboutique thread a bit later if anyone is interested in seeing everything).

First up is Kaylie: I made both Karis and Kaylie matching totes filled with little goodies (books, lip balm, bracelets, card games):

And here is Karis -- she was soooo cute. She won't peek inside her tote but snuck into the next room to go through it!

Khelsey got a rag quilt with Mickey in the center, a pillow with Barney, Eeyore and Pooh and Minnie patchwork covers, a barney bracelet, a Barney and Minnie wheelchair decoration and a couple of scarves to coordinate with Barney and Minnie outifts. The following are photos I took for Shelby of the other packages that arrived while I was there.
First up a GORGEOUS hand painted Barrney outfit -- photos don't do the outfit justice. There are cute details with sparkly paint!!! Woodkins made this outfit:

And this was a book of Disney Characters that Aimee made for Khelsey (Shelby loves this as does Khelsey):

I also got to see all the great outfits and other pixie dust that was sent by members of the Big Give. Everything is amazing! It was so much nicer seeing everything in person. You can really see the detail that goes into the work and I'm so impressed with everyone's talent. I was sad though b/c a couple of outfits I wanted to see in person had not yet arrived.

Everyone also got a luggage tag from me, including Travis!

Now I can't wait to see the girls in action maodeling all their clothes at Disney! Shelby is very good about taking pictures, so we should have an exciting trip report when the family returns.

Thanks again Shelby and Khelsey for opening up your home to us. You are blessed with three lovely girls!
