I've been behind on posting Big Give presents! I have no one to blame but myself, I accidently threw out the notes that were with the boxes...I feel HORRIBLE!! We go the week before school starts. I wasn't so sure about that time frame but the more I think about it, the more I think it's a perfect way to end the summer!!

I can't believe we have only a little over three weeks until we're off for Madison's wish trip! I haven't really updated in a while and I apologize, this summer has been a little crazy! Madison had her pacemaker check yesterday and everything looks fantastic. She has about 10 years on this pacer (had 6.5 on the last one so we are thrilled!). She's finally able to go swimming again which is a relief. She was born to be in the water I think, lol. Hopefully there won't be any drama between now and the time we leave, this lady is ready for a break (as we all are I am sure!).

It's hard to believe that in about 2.5 weeks we'll be cruisin' with Mickey! Everyone is very excited to be on the boat but of course I am stressing over getting packed and ready to go! We've gotten so many amazing things I'm scared I will forget something! I have the lists started so hopefully it's not an issue!

On another note, it was an exciting day for the T fam yesterday. Mike was promoted to CWO2!!! He is now a commissioned officer in the USMC. I am still waiting on Obama's "autograph" (the highlight of my day), hopefully it will only be a few more days before we receive his promotion warrant. Below is a pic from after the promotion (Mikayla looks less than thrilled, sorry about that, too many people in one room for her liking).

One more note, my mom is having surgery today and another dear friend of mine just found out she has kidney cancer. If you would please keep them in your thoughts and prayers, it would be greatly appreciated!

You sound just like me! For the longest time I didnt even carry a purse, I would just throw my wallet into the diaper bag. Which was so unlike me because I love bags! My DH jokingly calls me the "bag lady".

Congratulations to your husband. I can't imagine the blood, sweat and tears that allowed him to earn the promotion. And behind every great military man is a suppportive family, so thanks for all you do to encourage him.

ONE MORE WEEK!!! It is hard to believe that in one week we'll be on a plane to FL!!! We had dinner with Madison's wish granters last night and received more goodies and our travel documents. Mikayla immediately came home and started to pack. I wish I could say that was even on my radar right now, I feel like I have so much to do in the next 6 days!!! I know it will all come together and before I know it we'll be cruising the blue seas of the Bahamas!

Thanks ladies! Is it bad that I haven't started packing yet? I have my list all made out and Mikayla has "packed" her things but nothing else has been done! lol! To my defense, it's been a busy week. Madison stepped on a bee Sunday and was stung, her first. Of course, being the child she is, we found out she's allergic. Thank goodness it's not an anaphylaxic allergy but the poor thing couldn't walk until yesterday due to her foot being so swollen Then there were dentist appts, hair appts and some back to school shopping since we'll only be home 3 days before school starts. ACK! I just have to remember to breath, relax and everything will get done somehow, lol! I'll see y'all when we get back!
