Can you take an excursion and do the luau the same day or can you only do one of the other?

These itineraries often allow for multiple activities. I’ve done two excursions at a shorter stop in Alaska.

Sometimes the challenge comes with getting from one excursion to the other - especially if it would be easier to go back to the ship in between.

Also look to see if your date is open to general public booking if you will be doing an activity on the Lahaina side (many of the snorkel trips). Perhaps a car rental would be easier.

…I’m assuming it is the Old Lahaina Luau, as listed under DCL Port Adventures.

The evening begins before sunset. You walk the grounds, see demonstrations, take sunset photos, watch the cooked pig come out of the ground and then enjoy dinner and a hula show. It’s a fairly long evening.



…and a time for couples to share a dance.
