Mattress quality mod vs value

Do they use the same mattress quality at the mods as the values? I stayed at ASMu and ASMo and the beds were uncomfortable for my tastes. We're planning a 3 day trip over and can't justify the money for a deluxe at this time, I was thinking of giving the mods a try if the beds were different.

I've stayed at many different mods and also at POP and honestly noticed no difference in matress quality. Thats not to say there was no difference, as I tend to notice the pillows more than the matress.

There is a difference however I don't think that the difference justifies the price jump for a mod. I didn't find CBR to be that much of a step up from Pop. We decided that we will only stay value or deluxe.

Pop matresses are hard, CBR matresses were nice. It doesn't bother some people. I wouldn't base my decision on it.

I will say that there is no difference in mattress between values and deluxes. They all seem to have the same hard/thin mattress. It seems that when there is a newer resort or rehab, the mattresses are a little better. I know the mattresses at POP were better than ASMo and WLV. Now the best mattress I've ever slept on at WDW is at SSR. Nice plush mattress, not to hard or soft.....

We just stayed at all Star sports in a refurbished room and the beds were the most comfortable that I can remember. We have stayed at all the values and moderates and AKL & WL over the last 6 years.

Just back from ASMu and the beds were great. I love a firm mattress, though, so YMMV. The pillows were perfect, too, not too mushy and not too firm.
