When I first learned about Frozen II one of my favorite characters became Mattias because Mattias is my favorite name and he was a strong character in Frozen 2 that could've deserved more on screen time and Sterling K. Brown was great in the role of Mattias. I also got the Frozen 2 doll of Mattias as well. Also when you pronounce his name is it Mah-tee-uhs or Matt-tie-us?

Oh, I cannot stand Mattias. To me, he is a token black guy. When you want to be inclusive, inserting one black character for the sake of having a black character is not doing it. I also do not like that he rescued Anna at the end while Kristoff was there to catch her first. Kristoff is already the weakest link in the movie (spite him having an awesome song).

When I first saw Mattias when I first learned about Frozen II I found him quite handsome and he looked so gentlemanly in his uniform and I turned into a Sterling K. Brown fan and was so amazed that he did Mattias's voice so well. Hope Mattias appears in Frozen III if Disney ever decides to make one
