Matterhorn - Will it ever be open for me?

Sorry to be such a whiner, but I've been to Disneyland a total of three times.

In 1978: I rode the Matterhorn the first time. I loved it.
Then I went in 1983. Matterhorn closed for repairs.
Then I went in 1999. Matterhorn closed for repairs.
Now I'm going in Jan/2003: Matterhorn closed again.

I'm doomed to NEVER RIDE MY FAVORITE RIDE EVER AGAIN.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Disnee Dad Says.........................................I got you beat, so far.
First time, didn't want to ride it.
Second time, line too long.
Third time, down for repairs.
Fourth time down for repairs.
Fifth time, broke down the day we were there.
Sixth time, We have a winner! Finally in 2000 I got to ride it!

I heard some rumors it was due to reopen in mid January. Try looking on the Disneyland website for updates. I heard they enhanced the movements of the Yetti monster. This time he reaches out to almost grab you!!!! I can't wait to see the new Matterhorn. I understand your frustration. Matterhorn is my favorite ride too. Disneyland without Matterhorn is like Christmas without Santa Claus. You just gotta have it.
