Taken from sales pitch:

'THIS IS A RARE BEANIE BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT THE "MATTERHORN" IN DISNEYLAND WAS SHUT DOWN AND NO LONGER EXIST' [sic]

Sounds like this person is making up a story to try to make it sound like this doll is more valuable than it really is. Someone needs to tell this person that the Matterhorn is alive and well.

I hate when sellers do that. I always send them an email and tell them what their item really is. Misrepresentation is so wrong!

I cannot imagine a REAL Disney collector buying this without checking the validity of this information first.

I just read the listing twice and it does not say that.

I read it about half an hour ago and it did say that. It has been removed.

TBH I think the seller probably didn't know that what they were saying was incorrect. I truly dont' think that they were trying to be fraudulent but it is good it has been corrected

FWIT, the Matterhorn was shut down a couple of years ago, but has reopened. Maybe the seller didn't know that part of the story. Or maybe they thought there is some sucker out there that won't know!
