Matterhorn bobsled seats

It's been 2 weeks since my last ride on the Matterhorn. My butt still hurts. It's that stinkin' part at the end that does it. I swear my rear got some unexpected air time, then bam! And ouch!

Next time place something cushy under yer tushie. :) lol

I think the seats are more comfy now than they used to be, too. It's still bumpy, but I'm 5'7 and not petite and I didn't have any issues. Plus I hear the new Yeti effects are awesome -- worth a bruise or two if necessary ;)

I had a hard time getting out of the bobsled the first time I rode, I was in the back. Otherwise I don't have issues with the new sleds. It is a little harder to brace now with 3 seats instead of 2 because of the positions of the grip bars. I've ridden in the front and while there is more leg room I found it harder to brace myself in the front. There was also a screw that my shoe snagged on when I sat down that probably would have hurt if I was wearing sandals. But other than that first time I haven't had any bruising from the new bobsled or any issues, I just anticipate the turns and hold on really tight.

The seats are much more comfortable since the ride reopened recently and the Yeti effects are worth every bump and every turn :)

I was quite surprised and quite happy when I went last week :)

Oh no! Forget what I said! I'm overly sensitive in every way, so it makes sense that I'm overly sensitive bruise-wise as well.

Plus, they are kids and can handle it way better than us older folk.

Weirdly I can handle Indy. I plant my feet on the floor, sit straight but also relaxed, and just go with the flow of the ride. I come off of it feeling good. WEIRD.

When are you going????? We're working on a trip in late July after Eamon goes to a big dance thing in Long Beach.

Mid-August. I'll PM you!
