I want to get matching family tee-shirts for us to where at WDW! I looked at the Disney Store website and was unable to find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction to order them...I have seen families in WDW that have them but I want to get them before we go. Any help would be appreciated!!! :thanks:

Hello,

I had the same problem. What I did was asked someone on this board to make a design for me and then I printed it onto tshirt transfer paper and then ironed it on. They came out great. There are all kinds of designs in the design area (Creative DISigns) of this board and the people there are very helpful.

We get ours at the Disney store. We check every time we near one. There is not one too near our home. We have 3 new sets for our trip this month. DH and I also have two sets matching sweat shirts but DS out grew his. One thing about Disney store or WDW clothes is that they really are good quality and really last for several trips.

We just made our own. I cut mickey-head stencils out of contact paper and stuck them to plain T-shirts, then we sponged fabric paint inside the shape, and peeled the stencil off. (Put a piece of cardboard between the front and back of the shirts while you work - so the paint doesn't bleed through, and remove the contact paper before the paint is fully dry - to keep the edges neat.)

But if you are looking for something more elaborate, zazzle.com has a "Disney Ink Shop" section where you can pick any character and have a personal message added - names, date of trip, whatever.

Either way, have fun!

If you go to zazzle.com you will find a ton of designs that can go on many different color/sized shirts. It's reasonable and you can add your own message "Doe Family Disney Trip 2007"...etc...

again...Thanks!!

I love the idea of doing it myself, but I unsure of myself and I am afraid that they will come out so silly looking that my three-year old wont even wear them. I do have a Micheals near me and I like the idea of the iron-on design so I might go that route but I most certainly check out zazzle.com!!!

I know this does not really belong on the family board but I thought some sympathic mother would help out a fellow mother!!

We wear matching shirts every day during our 8 or 9 day trips.
It looks great in the pictures!!

I get most of ours from Disneyshopping.com.

Zazzle.com actually has a license to print the shirts for you....custom with names and all. But, I've ordered from them a couple of time before and I didn't find that the quality of the kids shirts were all that great....the adult shirts were good though.

This trip, I just purchased polo shirts for each of us in matching colors. Then, I bought embroidered patches from my local JoAnn's Fabrics and ironed those on where a normal logo would be. They turned out cute and they didn't look like I did them myself.

Check out the designs board her on disboards. There are wonderful designers there that have amazing designs!!!! Most of the designers will even personalize your shirts. I made shirts for my family for all 5 days of our trip. They turned out wonderfully! I bought t-shirts online super cheap, transfer paper from ebay. I didn't like the transfer paper from Michaels/Hobby Lobby.

Here are a couple of the shirts we did. I don't have very good pics of them!

I bought shirts from zazzle.com last year and was very disapointed in the quality. The images were faded as if they'd been washed several times. This year I'm making my own with iron ons.
