How do people get matching t-shirts for everyone in their family to wear at Disney? Is there an inexpensive way to do this? I thought I read where you could print out Disney transfers but I would prefer to buy already made transfers or t-shirts themselves. They don't have to be personalized or anything - I just thought it would be cute if we all had the same shirts but I need kids and adult sizes.

Go over to the creative disgins board....WARNING It is addictive!

True, you have to print them onto transfer paper and iron them onto the Tshirts...but they look fantastic. It is a guaranteed way to get the size and color of shirt you want! There are lots of DISigns that don't need to be customized...

Definitely go to the Creative DISigns site...although I agree it is very addictive!!! Here is a link to my thread with most of my finished products for our trip. We have some matching shirts and some themed ones, but not matching (just same colors or themes). Enjoy!!!:thumbsup2

We just buy ours at the disney store when they are on sale. Ofen 5.00 or less each. The children and adults might not be exactly the same but can all be Mickey and the same color. We are less than 1/2 hour from a disney outlet however so it is easy for us!!

Definitely check out the Creative DISigns forum. If you don't see what you're looking for, you can ask and usually get a new disign.

We bought our t-shirt on line at CheapesTees.com and iron on transfers paper on ebay, total cost of making each t-shirt was $5.
I thought that wasn't bad at all.
My son made the drawing for me, I just told him I want stick people and ice cream, turkey leg, mickey toy and ballons in the hands.
He did a really good job. He even put glasses on me LOL.
I will try to download picture

I bought t-shirts at Target and used fabric paint to decorate them. Use contact paper, cut out an outline (mickey head), stick it on the shirt, and let each member of the family use whatever color they'd like to color it in. We used sponges dipped in fabric paint and they came out wonderful! Easy to do for any age.

When we went to Disney in '07, we bought shirts from the disneyshopping.com. We're going this year, with a one year old. Instead of doing what we did last year, we bought matching red shirts from Wal-Mart. We're having them mongrammed with 'Disney '09' on the front of the shirts. One the back of the shirts they will say:
On the back of mine ~ 'We',
on the back of the baby's ~ 'R',
on the back of my mom's ~ 'Family'

There is a reason we are doing this. My mom and I have been a foster family for a baby for almost a year. We found out about 6 weeks ago that we are going to get to adopt this baby! :goodvibes Disney's theme this year is perfect for us, 'What will you celebrate?' We're celebrating not only the pending adoption, but also the baby will have turned a year old a couple of weeks before we go. We're wearing our matching outfits to Crystal Palace for breakfast with Pooh and friends!

Veraletta,
Your sons work is amazing. Can I ask what program you used to design these?

inkscape is what he used, I showed him a shirt that I liked on line that someone had made and he said that's easy to make so he made them.

I then asked him if he could make a turkey leg and ice cream and mickey stuff animal and he said I can make anything you want, just show me what you want. LOL.

He loves making stuff he is now working on winnie the pooh patch to put on the stoller, so I can put our info on the stoller with iron on transfer.

I show him the Mickey one someone had here on the disboard and I told him I really need pooh because the stoller is green with winnie the pooh on it, I don't want the stoller mixed matching.

He using a free pooh clip art on line and going to take off the Disney pooh sign and add our info on the sign.

This is a great idea ~ sounds much easier than doing an applique. I just want a shirt for ds with a small Mickey head on it that will coordinate with a dress I am buying for dd. You are a genius!

We buy our shirts at A.C. Moore when they're $2.00 on sale..then print off disigns and iron them on.

My wife and I actually went to Disney for our Honeymoon, and my wife made us shirts. I know she went to Hobby Lobby and picked up Disney iron ons as well as iron on letters. We had matching shirts that said "Just Married" "Bride" "Groom" etc...very quick and good idea. We got more compliments on our shirts as well as congratulations from many of the guests!!
