Master Contract Confusion

We have a 50 pt BWV (Dec UY) contract and are in the process of purchasing 171 BWV (Apr UY) - these are all resale if it makes a difference.

Should/can we have them put on the same contract? Are we able to combine them for reservation purposes to have 231 pts or will we always have to keep them separate and transfer points as needed?

If they both have the same Use Year and are titled identically, they might allow them to be in the same contract, but different Use Years mean they will be separate memberships.

You will be able to transfer points between the contracts and/or will be able to reserve nights from each contract and MS will link them together for a seamless reservation.

IMO you should buy the UY that makes the best sense for your travel patterns and keep the same UY on all of your contracts.

Having more than one UY is extra work and increases the chance of a making a mistake.

Two completely different memberships. You will be able to see them on the DVC member site, but you will not be able to combine the points for a single night without a transfer from one membership to the other.

I think it can often make sense to have different home resorts and UY but it doesn't seem to in your situation. I'd buy the same UY you own already if that one works for you.
