It would be great to have a couples massage at disney. I read the place to have them is GF. I'm staying at the POR so does that mean I can't have them at the GF and if not where do they have a spa for me?

Even though you are at POR. We booked a couples massage at GF on Superbowl Sunday this year but we cancelled at the last minute because I was not feeling well. We were staying at POFQ. I've used the GF spa while staying at the Contemporary as well. The couples massage is pricey but it sounds heavenly. I think you can get couples massages at Saratoga Springs too but I am not sure. I had a great massage at AKL on my first day of a trip in November, now that is the way to start out a vacation! They seemed more sports oriented and less couples oriented to me. Have fun.

I've not been impressed with the GF's spa (have not done the couples' massage). Been a couple of times and have never felt like I've received my money's worth.

I used to really like the old Institute's spa. I've not been since it's changed to Saratoga Springs, but Mom has (as well as to the Institute) and she says it's just as good. May want to see if they offer a couples' massage there.

They have massages at many, if not all, of the deluxe resorts, however I can't tell you if they all offer a couples' massage. You don't even have to be a resort guest to take advantage of the spas so, if you want GF, there isn't any reason why you can't do it.

I'm one of the massage therapists at SSR. We do have a couple's treatment. One half of the couple has an aromatherapy massage while the other half has a hydrotherapy treatment. These two treatments are in the same room. There is a tea service while the therapists clean the room and the tub, and then the partner's switch treatments. I agree with FirstNo. I have had massages at both the GF and the old Institute and liked the Institure better. The facilities are larger and to me nicer.

Amimee K. Do you know if they made any changes to the actual facilities when they converted to Saratoga Springs? I figured they just "mothballed" the place while the construction was going around it.

They don't care where you are staying, we have been on-property, off-property and at a Downtown Disney hotel and have massages at either place.

Unfortunately, that's a GF treatment. We don't offer that at SSR. I'll ask at the spa, we have a few cast members who have worked at GF.

I believe they are the same as they were during the DI days. Some minor cosmetic changes, but the layout is the same.

We had the couples massage the day after our wedding. It was very relaxing and when we left we floated out of there. We didn't get to enjoy the spa itself because we were running late from the parade.
