Massachusetts folks post here!!!

Wow!! I think it's time to start a WPI alumini DVC thread :grouphug:

That would be so cool! No one who lives around me is a DVC member. It's nice to know that some of my fellow WPI grads are, though.

Are you talking about China Town??? We lived in Stoughton near Cobb's Corner for 3 years, then in Brockton near the mall, so we were near both!

Heck yea!! Chinatown is an awesome Chinese place actually in Canton isn't it, but in Cobbs Corner? I wanna know what is good like that place for Chinese near Disney lol.

Woot UMass grad class of '90 myself!!!

Proud to say that, even though I've been in Mass. for 15yrs now, still a diehard Yankee fan

LOL...Memo to you your already on the dark side!! :lmao: Sox will hold on don't worry. They better!! ;) How bout dem Jets!! :rotfl2:

I'm not worried - you should be! Brace yourself for the traditional Sept. Boston choke!:rotfl2: And who cares about the Jets? Unofficial rules state: If you're a Yankee fan, you also must root for the Giants; Rangers; and Knicks! (Although I may not admit to be a Giants fan right now!)

Born and raised in Malden, lived in Framingham while going to college, now live in Wakefield. DH grew up in Everett!!

I must ride by the "grey altima" everyday at the Middle School when I meet DD #2...........I park on Richardson St facing up the hill so I don't hit traffic when I go to get DD#3 at the Dolbeare!! 3 girls, 3 schools!! ugh!!! We live in the Montrose area (very close to the closed Montrose school!!).

My husband and I were both born and lived in Cambridge for years. My parents had a house in Winchendon (now NOBODY will know where that is except for the Orange people, and yes I know where Orange is!!) We left good old People's Republic 20 years ago and live north of the city. We both graduated from Northeastern and our son just started there this year.

Go Huskies!!

We are one of the original "oldies", bought into DVC in 1991.

Mike - WPI, the Engineers, right? I went to Wasted State, er, Worcester State for 4 yrs. Later went to Assumption.

Have lived in Auburn, Southbridge, Wales and Sturbridge where I grew up and now live.

Everybody knows Sturbridge don't they?? - Old Sturbridge Village and The Mass Pike Exit 9 / I-84 "Parking Lot" at Thanksgiving!

I live in Sturbridge too!! Hmmmmm maybe I know you...

Haha, I'm one of the 'Orange people' (now in Arlington) and I do know where Winchendon is. Actually, I was just there recently as my husband's grandmother has a summer place in Fitzwilliam, NH, just over the border. And the same grandmother has lived in Cambridge for 70+ years :)

LOL I slide up Bennet St and back track over to Oak to avoid Main St back to Greenwood.

I remember you from when I was asking questions about buying in. Not only did I purchase HHI resale - I added on at BWV. Thanks for great advice. Janis

I didn't relize you lived in Wakefield too! So now we're up to four Wakefield people, right?

We need to have a Wakefield meet at Brothers or Toodys or something. hehe.

I get my hair cut in Wakefield, do I count?? ;)

I 'know' people in Wakefield...that has to count for something!!!
Seems to be a fair number of us in Central Mass....Westborough, Grafton, Millbury, Sutton, Mendon, Upton, Charlton.
Let's see...I live in Westborough, my dd lives in Grafton, my matron of honor used to live in Millbury, our best friends live in Upton, we go to Southwicks as often as possible, and my dd (the 14 y/o one) goes to Nature's Classroom every summer on Prindle Pond in Charlton.....such connections. Kinda like 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon.

Wow, I didn't know that Southwicks was still in existence! We took our DSs there about 20 years ago. DS #1 went to Nature's Classroom, but we moved to Texas just before DS #2's year to go. And DH used to live in Grafton (before he was my DH, if you know what I mean). My former wedding reception was in Upton-I can't remember the name of the resturaunt, it probably doesn't exist, but then you never know-Southwick's lives so maybe the resturaunt does! Hey, can someone send me down a Sundae from Friendly's? That's what I miss the most from Massachusetts.

My husband and I were both born in Gloucester and lived there until our late twenties. We now live in Florida.

I thought you meant the Verizon place on Main St across from the Dance Studio, that is the one I pass everyday!! I work at the lake and have to make my way to the Galvin just at the same time the kids are getting out........so much traffic at that time!! DD #1 has been getting rides home from the high school..............never thought I would say I can't wait for her to get her license (January!!!)!

Glad to hear you purchased DVC..............if you ever need a trade to OKW, just holler!!! We have never been to HHI. We are looking to trade next summer or rent out so we can take DD to visit Hawaii Pacific University!!!

...I mean there is no country if you think about it, if not for the proud and brave folks in our Bay State where the country began. I grew up in the shadow of the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown myself ...So post up and rep our state until we see the whites of their eyes from reading our hopefully many pages of posts lol. :thumbsup2 party: :jumping1: :disrocks: :thumbsup2

Love the history references! Just taught about the Battles of Breed's Hill and Bunker Hill today-- here in beautiful Wistah! (if you have to ask, you're not really from the Bay State!);)

Did you ever try the greasy poll? Viva St. Pedro!!!!! When I was younger we'd take my Uncle Bobs' boat out from Ipswich and go down durring Festival to watch those brave (o.k.- drunk crazy people) try to get the flag at the end of the poll......painful...very painful!!!!!!:lmao:
