At least 20 people are dead, and over 40 are injured. This is horrendous. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.

Police shot and killed the gunman.

The FBI is already calling it an act of Domestic Terrorism, for the FBI to already make that call well lets just say they don't usually make that determination this early even in San Bernadino it wasn't officially labeled terrorism for over 24 hours.

For all of those worried about traveling to Europe this summer, you can cross Florida and California off you list as well.

Fortunately the officers were wearing ballistic helmets, one officer was shot in the head thankfully the ballistic helmet took the bullet but the officer is still injured.

I agree that it's the new reality we live in. Police and FBI response was immediate, they saved lives with their quick response.

True. What amazes me is we are so shocked when ISIS kills 10 people(in no way lessening those lost lives) -yet we kill hundreds of our own each day without their assistance.
