What about that Col. Flagg guy.. who was like the wind

I love MASH!! I have actually seen/talked to Radar! I work in a grocery store in a small lake town and he apparently owns a house somewhere there. I wasn't aware of that when he came through my line and really didn't think it was him, just a lookalike. He had sunglasses on and looked like he'd been gardening. In making small talk I asked if he ever gets told he looks like someone famous and he said he got that a lot. I then went on to say how much I loved MASH and he said thank you. That's when it clicked. I turned beet red and really wanted to get him to sign something but I didn't want to freak him out while he was maintaining a low profile. I just muttered something about how my whole family enjoys MASH and did my usual spiel. A couple of weeks later someone in the breakroom was talking about how someone saw him at a restaurant and I told then that he'd been in the store as well. That is my one and only celebrity sighting. My hubby did say he thought Reese Witherspoon came through his drive thru one time, but that's a whole other thread....

I like MASH. Watch it once in a while in reruns.

When I was a kid and it was on the air, I liked Frank much better than Charles. Now I prefer Charles. I like the character of Frank (who doesn't know one? Hell, the DIS is full of Franks), but all the stuff involving Charles was so much funnier.

Liked both Potter and Henry Blake.

Trapper was better than B.J. B.J. was always whining about his wife and baby. He had one of my favorite MASH lines, though. He was preparing laundry, "sorting it" all into the same pile while he said, "Greens...greens...greens." :rotfl:

My dad met allan alda when I was little. My dad was navy, Used to run a tight ship err house.
I know Im addict because:
I had a mash themed room
I have a mash scrapbook

OMG! My DH would love you. I am a MASH fan. But, he is the obsessed one. And he would die for a MASH themed room.:rotfl:

I just watched the 30th anniversary reunion on TV Land last week. I don't remember seeing it when it originally aired in 2002. So, it was fun to watch. They had all the lead actors there(that are still alive). It was fun to hear about their favorite episodes and about the behind the scenes stuff. Personally, I prefer the later episodes with Col. Potter, Charles and BJ. That is, until Radar left.

(ducks head, guilty) I cant believe Im gonna admit this but I actully bought a green army tent to put up in my guest bedroom. At least the kids will think its cool.

i love it! trapper and henry are my favorites. my mom is a mash freak. she watches it anywhere and anytime she can find it on tv. i was still living at home when henry died. my whole family cried.

Same here.

Love M*A*S*H!!!! My favorite seasons were after BJ, Charles and Potter showed up, but before Radar left.

The older I get, the more I pity "Frank." His character was such a caricature that I don't find him nearly as funny anymore. I find the character very sad now.

Through early morning fog I see, visions of the things to be.......

My favorite episode has to be from season 2-Crisis,when they have to double and triple up to save heat.

I too love M*A*S*H :)

The saddest episode in my opinion was when Col.Blake died on his way home

I really liked all of the characters. ::yes::
But of course my favorite was always Hawkeye :happytv:

I agree also. Of course I'll watch any and all of them. :)

My DH and I both love MASH. One of my favorite qoutes: Trapper to Frank Burns, " Frank I peeked at the end, the Devil did it."

My favorite episode is where Ho John steals the stuff and puts it in Hawkeye's footlocker and Henry looks in the stove pipe and pours soot all over his face.

Cpl. Walter "Radar" O'Reilly: It's me, Radar.
Abbott: Halt or I'll shoot.
Cpl. Walter "Radar" O'Reilly: I can't get any more halted.

M*A*S*H is a terrific show, but one thing about it has always made me wonder:

Three surgeons, two Captains and a Major, share a tent (and in the first season the Swamp also housed Spearchucker Jones), and yet Cpl. Klinger has a tent all to himself.

How does that happen?

I know that one pam! No one wanted to share a tent with a freak. Not that klinger was a freak. Klinger was a company clerk so He needed a tent closer to potter/henerys office (im guessing)

Not sure where Klinger slept before Radar left. Klinger took over for Radar and slept where the radio/phone was. (sort of "on" 24/7).

My favorite quote would have to be: "Ladies and gentlemen take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice." Major Sidney Freeman -- the psychiatrist!

I love M*A*S*H! It's on the Hallmark Channel and I watch it whenever I can. My favorite episode is probably the one where Klinger is trying to escape from camp and is on a hang-glider wearing a robe and fuzzy pink slippers!

Not sure who my favorite character is...but my friends tend to call me Radar since I'm really good at finding resources and trading things!

orginally in the "overlap" klinger had his own tent. Mabey he needed it for his wardrobe :P I loved his little red dress.

That was from The Trial of Henry Blake. Tht was a really good one.

Which episode really makes you cringe? For me,it's the one when Hawkeye is on all by himself when he has the concussion. When I see the opening of it,I change the channel.
