There's a whole new layer now, though, as hubby's mom is Korean, born in '38 and lived through all of that.

I liked the ones with Frank Burns. He was such an easy target for Hawkeye, Trapper and BJ. I think other than Frank my favorite character was Klinger. You have to love his antics. It was always a don't miss show. My DH watches the reruns every chance he gets. It is his favorite TV show.

I've always loved MASH. It's funny but I really love Alan Alda's take on Hawkeye but I've never liked him in anything else. I pretty much liked all of the characters with Colonel Flagg one of my favorite villains ever.

I did not like the movie at all by the way.

M*A*S*H is a favorite by everyone in this house! We watch the reruns when they're on TVLand and DS just went through all the DVD's.

I've never seen the movie. I tried once but couldn't take someone else being Hawkeye and had to turn it off.

I love M*A*S*H! I don't get to watch the reruns often though!

Years ago, my Dad named his dog Benji's puppies Hot Lips, Hawkeye, Father Mulcahay, Radar, BJ, Frank and Margaret. Yes, Benji was a female. I claimed Hawkeye, and he was my faithful companion while I was growing up. It's a good thing that dog couldn't talk!

Not so much the later ones with Charles Winchester III but the earlier ones.

We watch M*A*S*H almost every weekday from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. My kids know it and love it. I will never forget watching the final episode. I wasn't too old, middle school age, and I cried like a baby.

I love MASH! My DD12 & DS4 like it too. We watch on TV land from 5-7 most weekdays, and I have some of the seasons on DVD, like the later ones better, BJ is my fave. When I've had a bad day or am depressed, it ALWAYS makes me laugh.

Love M*A*S*H!!!! My favorite seasons were after BJ, Charles and Potter showed up, but before Radar left.

The older I get, the more I pity "Frank." His character was such a caricature that I don't find him nearly as funny anymore. I find the character very sad now.

I had a hamster named radar, and a rabbit. MOm hates mash, guess its cause it makes her think of my dad. To me its a way to remain connected. Sorry dont mean to bring the fun down.

I love M*A*S*H* I still watch the reruns all the time. I liked the earlier seasons (like the first 5-6 seasons) a bit more than the later ones. IMO, the show got a little too "up on my soapbox" when Alan Alda got more control over the content. Henry Blake was great - I remember going when he was killed.
