Another from Montgomery County. We are in Bethesda and own at Animal Kingdom and Beach Club. We are leaving Sunday for a week at SSR and are glad to be getting away from the cold and the madness of the inauguration.

The crab dip is really good. It comes with either those toasted breads or fresh baked pretzel sticks (my choice). They a lot of really good bar food and $5 pitchers!!

Hi, we're in Annapolis, too. We live in Cape St. Claire. We bought in 2003 at the BW. We actually took the tour in 2000, but I wasn't sure if it was worth it. It's wasn't until I found Disboards, did I get it. You know what they say, hindsight is 20/20. Should have bought in 2000.

We go at least once a year. Sometimes more.

Oh, so I count two from Howard County. Grandpa Mohawk and I make it three, the western bit near Clarksville.

I first investigated in 2001 when BCV was for sale. Sooooo did not understand the whole points system then. But went back for a tour at SSR in May '06 (I'd been visiting every March since '01, offsite at Marriott) and bought the next day.

Addonitis hit right after our first stay in December '06. We just got a 4th contract (3rd add-on), this one at BLT. Did our 2nd NYE this year (and met up with tomandrobin's posse). Have trips planned for April/May, Sep/Oct and another group trip for early December (for the family at large). Getting ready to book NYE too.

So far we mostly stay at SSR (adore the place) but we have branched out to BWV. I'm kicking around the idea of another 3 days at either BWV, AKV or VWL the tail end of our October trip. Have to wait for the 7 mos. window to open.

We love our DVC ownership and have really made it work for us. Since I deal with the special needs of HA rooms, I have a little proficiency there. Anyone who wants to say hello or ask a question off-board, just PM me. I usually check in here about once a day when home. DISboards are an addiction for me.

Well let me see. My brothers are leading a posse up to Pittsburg Sunday AM. From Annapolis through Frederick and up. I think they're slightly nuts considering the long drive and the weather forecast, but it'll be a fantastic experience for them. Seems none of us won the lottery for Superbowl tickets (my family has a bunch of PSLs... long term since Colts days).

I just played back the Colts/Giants 1958 Championship game (NFL's Greatest Game series) on my DVR for taping. (My parents were there along with friends, making GM a bit weepy with the watching. Amazing how much Flacco plays like Unitas.) Anybody read Olesker's article about the freaky omens in Monday's Examiner? Would be fantastic if we could get back to Tampa again.

Otherwise, GM and I are planning another PlayOff viewing party at home with friends and family. I'm extremely superstitious so if they start to due poorly I must leave the room. (I can listen just not watch. Bad mojo.) Last Saturday I spent my time hiding out here, listening to the game and trading PMs with another nervous Marylander. I expect Sunday's game to require major doses of Prozac or a defribulator.

Hi, we're in Annapolis, too. We live in Cape St. Claire.

Lived in Cape St Claire (Deep Creek section) all my life until I moved to Baltimore City. Still visit my parents, who still live there, every other weekend.

My DH and I will be watching the Ravens from home and I agree with BroganMC a defibulator will probably be necessary if the past two games against the Steelers are any indication. My DH is still upset about the touchdown fromt the last game. Win or lose nobody expected this season!

I am technically in Columbia but I am right across the street from the Board of Education which is Ellicott City. Just down the road from Clarksville.

Wife and I bought at SSR in 06. Have gone 3x to disney so far on our contract and have been able to invite extended family each time!
One of the best things we bought as a married couple.

Good luck getting in to the ESPN Club. They take no reservations and you need to get there way early.

As a fall back, the Dolphin Resort will have the game on at the pool side bar.

Well I am so jealous of all my fellow Marylanders!! We are THISSSSS close to buying a resale so I can't say I am part of the club yet. WE live in Mount Airy, Howard County so I hope to be included in the club one day.

Go Ravens! I spent the last half of the game last week walking in and out of the family room with my family yelling at me for being negative!! " Throw the ball! Go Flacco! Where is Ed Reed this game?? " I definitely will need a drink but I like the Prozac idea too! OH Please let them finally bet Pittsburgh!!! I hope our guys heal up fast!

Brand new DVC member at AKV received for christmas from western maryland in frostburg where it is currently 5 degrees and looking forward to my trip in august!
