There will be several Maryland scrapbook stores participating with products at 50% off or MORE!!! This is a great way to stock up on scrapbook supplies at a great price! yeah, and I'm still ticked you didn't meet up with us! of course, I was there bright and early last year... don't think I'm going this year, kate's irish dance picnic is the same day and with gas being pricely... it's got to be at least an hour and a half drive for me now. bummer, cause it totally rocked last year. maggie
Some of us sleep in the morning !! I've done a lot of sb shopping lately, so I don't know if I need much more. I'll wait until Sunday to see what I want to do (after I wake up!!).
hi guys no I have not dropped off the face of the earth just fell in the PTA well this week. stopped in for a min and saw this thread. i can't believe this snuck up on me like this. i can't make it this year either!!!!! why oh why do they have it at the end of the earth anyway. no one knows where Carrol county is??? So silly
Hi all!! Westminister is about 45 minutes from me (I'm about 10 mins north of Annapolis). It's actually a really nice area. I'll be there and am returning to Westminster next weekend for the MD Wine Festival (we go every year)
We had a nice afternoon. the weather was beautiful for the drive! We went to the sb flea market & then to Baugher's for a late lunch/early dinner & to buy produce. They didn't have cider yet! We'll have to go back in a few weeks!
I didn't think the flea market was as large as last year - defintiely not as many participating retailers, not as much stuff to be bought, no place on site to eat other than soda & candy, etc. We arrived about 1 p.m. By the time we were leaving about 3 p.m. some retailers had marked things down to 60-75 % off. One table of "stuff" looked like the ladies just cleaned out their own sb supplies & set up a table . Even the CM table was much smaller than last year.
We did find a good deal on 12"x12" frames. My husband picked out two he liked - they were only $10 each. He wants to use them when we enlarge square photos. Another retailer a few spaces down had 12"x12" frames with a sb page already done for $25.
